Level 2 ultrasound today, we're having ...

A boy (which we knew) and another little girl.  My daughter wanted a baby sister, my hubby wanted a boy, and I wanted healthy babies.  We all got our wish!  The babies looked great, both measuring a week ahead.  YIKES!  My little boy is causing trouble already and would not move his arm from across his chest during the scan, so we have to go back in 4 weeks for a follow-up growth scan and to finish his fetal echo.  What they did see looked good though.  The perinatologist told me the number one complication for twins is preterm labor.  Really?  I work in the NICU, I'm pretty aware of that.  I told her I asked my OB for weekly cervical checks but she wouldn't do it.  So, I think she got that I understood and was worried about this as well.  All in all, it was amazing.  I love seeing my babies so in depth.  :)

    Great news.  Are they identificatal or fraternal.. Ha ha hoping my humor comes across on here.  . my friend had one bit and one girl when she had her twins and apparently people ask this all the time ;). Congrats

    Yay, congrats!  We're in the same boat...we already know that at least one baby is a boy and my daughter desperately wants a sister.  Glad that you all got your wish!

    Congratulations!  So glad everyone got what the wanted.. Haha!   I can't wait to have my anatomy scan or level 2 scan!   Sorry the boy was being difficult,  but at least you get another in depth us to see him!

    BFP 2/19/15  •  MMC found at 9 wks  •  D&E at 11 wks (age 36)
    BFP 8/29/15      •  CP (age 37)
    BFP 11/18/15  •  DD born at 41 weeks <3(age 37/38)

    BFP 10/18/17  •  MMC found at 8 wks  •  Misoprostal at 10.5 wks (age 39)

    9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
    RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

    BFP 5/11/19  •  Fraternal twins  •  MMC found at 10w5d (Baby A 6w, Baby B 10w)  •  Misoprostal at 11 weeks (age 41)
