I have not had horrible morning sickness. I wouldn't call it morning sickness at all actually but I have had a few bouts of nausea that don't really last all that long and seemingly disappear if I just lie down for a minute. However, my husband brought home Ginger Beer (not alcoholic, think Root Beer) and it really calmed my stomach. I only started hearing about this stuff late last year and it then it started popping up in our grocery stores. I'm not a huge ginger ale fan so it was nice to have an option.
Re: Ginger Beer - For nausea
ETA: Just released I typed "root beet" instead of "root beer", sheesh.

only reason I have been buying ginger ale instead of ginger beer is price and the rate at which I've been going through them.

*TEAM BLUE!*
ginger beer is fantastic for MS, but my OB advised me in first trimester not to have more than one a day because some brand have a very strong concentration of ginger and it might be link to miscarriage.
