What's new with baby (size, development): raspberry! Baby has lost his/her tail!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Still cleaning out my study to make room for the spare bed so I can convert the spare bedroom into a nursery.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Wish I had more sticks to pee on. I know it's silly but my only symptom is nausea and I feel like it could be psychosomatic.
When is your next appointment: 1st appointment scheduled for next week.
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? I worked at a coffee shop/ gourmet food store in HS. It wasn't exciting.
Nothing currently - anxiously awaiting my first ultrasound before I get too involved
The few symptoms I had are gone. I know this should be a good thing but has me really worried. Tried to get an order for bloodwork today to check HCG but my levels were too high the first round and the nurse said it could possibly create unneccesary stress and concern.
Next Friday 4/15 is my next appointment and ultrasound. So. Far. Away.
My first job was lifeguarding at a local water park.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: trying to stay awake and from hurling
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: beginning nausea. Nurse gave me some meds to try today. I hate the dizziness!! It hits while I'm driving

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: feeling better overall but still tired
When is your next appointment: April 20
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? I bussed tables at a breakfast place, which kicked off my 10 years in the restaurant industry, where I've bussed, served, tended bar, hostessed, and maitre d'ed (yes I made them all verbs). I had a great time working in many restaurants and met my best friends as well as my husband at a later restaurant, but I'm glad to be out. I didn't have thick enough skin.
What's new with baby (size, development): Sweet Pea & rainbow sprinkle! (ETA Sprinkle. hadn't seen it yet
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Just trying to drink plenty of water.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: My vaginal discharge is weird and gross today. I'm assuming normal as there is no smell itching or burning, but will ask the RE tomorrow. It's super thick & white. **TMI** White, thick, creamy & almost chunky. Definitely doesn't feel like a yeast infection. Other than this my only symptom is tender/sore/hard breasts.
When is your next appointment: Tomorrow morning. ***TW Possible Issues*** Things have been very much in limbo for me the last week. They think they have ruled out ectopic, but gestational sac is small & has been hard to scan. The RE thinks it's my anatomy and it's placement, but it's very much a watch and see. Hoping for them to be able to see enough tomorrow to confirm things are definitely uterine and are still progressing. My betas are also confusing. I have zero clue how things are going to go. I want to be optimistic, but am really not as a self protection tactic.
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? My job was in a photo lab. I always loved when we got in people's naughty pictures. It was always the ones you least expected.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Nothing at the moment.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: my symptoms are still here, but still mild. I am just thankful to have them and have the reassurance.
When is your next appointment: 4/12 for another ultrasound to make sure baby is growing!
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? I worked at a local food/convenient store in high school. I always took advantage of my free ice cream on days I worked. Our assistant manager was a ghetto-fied woman of Caucasian decent probably in her mid to late 20s at the time. She always had so much drama. She had a baby daddy that was in and out of jail and a few boyfriends on the side. She would make what she called "fun" fries or "fun" pizza. Basically she would purposely mess up an order so we could eat the mistake. She ended up get fired for stealing money.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Nothing new. Just trying to stay healthy and find things to eat and getting a little exercise in without making my heart rate go crazy
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I'm about to go get a massage and I'm not sure how I'm going to lie flat on my front without my sore boobs/nipples killing me, especially if shes pushing on my back. Maybe I can put a little pillow between them or something so the pressure is on my sternum instead. I'm sure she's dealt with people who have sore pregnancy boobs before.
When is your next appointment: First ultrasound next Tuesday, next midwife appointment on 4/26.
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? I was a vet tech. Most of the funny stories are gross and I don't want to think about them or share them with nauseated pregnant ladies! I think my least gross funny story is when a great dane decided he didn't like whatever we were doing and dragged me across the floor as he tried to make his escape. A 120lb person cannot effectively restraint a 150lb dog.

What's new with baby (size, development): Tater tot!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Not much yet. DH wants to wait for 2nd trimester before we even look at baby stuff. I did buy some maternity clothes though.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Migraines, exhaustion, food aversions, some spotting today, brain fog and total lack of giving any f$%ks about work!
When is your next appointment: May 9th but got to see baby today because of bleeding. Everything looks good.
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? A greek restaurant which reminds me I'm STARVING!
