So, I have a question and thought I would ask you professional OPK users. I was away this weekend and just got home yesterday afternoon. I did not bring OPKs (or my thermometer) with me thinking it was too early, but of course had some symptom correlation to possible O a few days ago. I decided to just start doing OPKs when I got home to see if I maybe didn't O/was gearing/geared up etc. Fast forward to last night around 9, and I get a blaring positive on a Wondfo, like no question, I even dipped another and it was also positive. To double confirm I dipped one of the Clearblue Advanced OPK which are supposed to be used with FMU, but I figured if I was turning a Wondfo positive it would show something...nope just showed a "low fertility" empty circle. This morning with FMU, low fertility and a negative OPK.
Anyways, I guess I'm wondering what you all think the chances of a false positive on the wondfo is? Or would you put more trust in the digitals? Or just eff the whole thing and keep doing EOD until forever
I will keep taking my temps the next few days and see if they are high/stay high in my post-O range to "confirm" as best as possible, but obviously won't have enough info for that. I have good BD coverage either way, just curious your thoughts. Thanks!
Re: OPK question: digital vs. Wondfo
Usually with Clearblue digitals I get low fertility for a while, then 2 days of high fertility, and then the peak fertility smiley face that stays lit for 2 days.
Ugh. Sorry you are so frustrated! I hope you can figure it out soon.

I'd personally trust the Wondfo in this scenario. The only time I've gotten "false positive" Wondfo OPKs were the first 2 cycles after my MC around CD14 each time. I'd get one "maybe positive" in the morning where it was hard to tell if the test line was as dark as the control line (I never really get test lines that are darker than the control) then a couple of hours later it would be obviously negative again. Usually on my real LH surge I can get a positive OPK for at least 1 full day, sometimes 2.
But basically I feel like Wondfos are very accurate. I've never really had problems with them. I'd trust it. That doesn't mean you'll definitely O but.... no OPK can tell you that with certainty.
