Ive been using enfamil ready to use and just used the powder mix today. The powder batch I mixed is much lighter in color, it looks like normal cows milk you would buy. The ready to use is a darker color and seems thicker. I mixed it with the Dr Browns mix pitcher and did 32oz but when I poured it into an old container of the ready to use that is 32oz I had an extra 4-5oz.

Should the powder I mix be lighter? I'm 100% sure I mixed 32oz but the difference in color and the fact it didn't fit in the 32oz container is making me paranoid.

Yes. It is much lighter in color and texture I found as well. And when you add the formula it said it adds I think .2oz per scoop.

Enfamil website says the color difference is due to a heat process used to sterilize the ready-feed. And the Enfamil powder container explains the powder adds .2 oz of volume per scoop
