I am so excited too!! Still have 7 weeks left, and even though I am physically miserable and pregnancy feels never ending... I keep thinking OMG, right around the corner and we will be PARENTS! It's just crazy!!!
I'm getting nervous! Baby was breech at 34 1/2 weeks, so I'm getting a sonogram on Friday to determine whether a version is possible. If so, I'd get it next week. A possible risk is baby might be born same day.
If LO doesn't flip, I'll be scheduling a C section for four weeks from now! It's going super fast!
4weeks left. I'm just happy to have baked this long. Still a little shocked that I'm about to have another baby. Have only just got used to being pregnant
Sorry, but I just think of the Goonies when I read the thread title!
Dammit, you beat me to it! But yes. We also used to use this phrase at summer camp to yell at/communicate with the other cabins across the lake to see what was up, and I read it in that tone. I was half expecting all the messages in this thread to be said back in the exact same tone/drawn out emphasis/whatever.
I am indeed serious. I had a severe miscarriage 2 months prior to getting pregnant this time. Each week has not only been a milestone but I have been so preoccupied with "what happened last time, will it happen again, will I go full term,am I ok, is baby ok" that already the time has gone past and soon to be due.
Starting to feel excited! The past 33 weeks have been long and stressful. Only now am I beginning to feel excitement since the end is near and very soon we'll get to meet LO!
@bigmomma14 : sorry for your loss...not the same situation, but we went through 2 years of infertility and lots of medical help to make this little guy happen. Some days, I'm still in shock I managed to get pregnant and wonder whether I'm really ready for this, thinking wow, I really wouldn't have felt ready two years ago, right?! Due in 4 weeks! Eeek!
