Had a little scare earlier this week when I wasn't feeling baby move but all is well.

Feeling lots of kicks, not getting enough sleep and having terrible baby brain issues.

Haven't started nursery yet, it will be a nook in our bedroom that we now use for an office. There is currently a mural on the wall of a tree that I will add to.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Baby flipped today and started kicking me right below the ribs instead of so low in my belly- don't know why, but it was exciting!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I have my anatomy scan Monday and am soooo nervous. Praying for a healthy baby! I'm starting to feel little movements every so often which is so exciting! (I have an anterior placenta).

How many weeks today? 20w (halfway through!)

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Banana

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Little one still isn't letting me eat much. It isn't because I am nauseous, but because I am not hungry. I am also either incredibly thirsty or not thirsty at all.

I have had some "flutters," though! Distinct thumps in that my lower abdomen.

Questions? Anyone else just not hungry or thirsty?

GTKY: have you started to prepare the nursery yet? Got a theme picked out or other plans? Hubby and I figure on moving shortly before baby is born, so we have been having trouble picking a theme or anything for the nursery. We don't know what the space is going to look like.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? The back pain has really kicked in, I assume because my belly has gotten a lot bigger in the last week or two! I hope my muscles will adjust! Also, this week my feet started to swell. Not consistently every day, but they puff up at times and then go back to normal.

You wouldn't know if if you saw the room, but DH and I have done a ton of work in the last two weekends to make room for baby. Last weekend we had to get rid of a bunch of stuff taking up valuable storage space elsewhere in the house, so we did a big purge of stuff that went into the trash or to charity. This weekend we've been sorting out better storage arrangements to get more organized and store away things that we had just thrown into the spare bedroom. I think by next weekend that room will be a blank canvas of sorts, so I can get to the fun part of setting up the nursery!

GTKY: have you started to prepare the nursery yet? Got a theme picked out or other plans? After our a/s we painted an accent wall in the nursery and I've ordered some decorations. We're not doing a certain theme just going to have animals, and light purple.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I can now feel her movements every day. I feel her moving in the morning and at night. I think she is an active little thing! DH got to feel one little thump yesterday morning. No symptoms really other than this acne needs go away.
I can't wait for our anatomy scan next weekend!

We are moving at the beginning of June so I won't be doing anything until then. School will be done so I feel like I have plenty of time to get things ready. But I'm thinking gray/pink theme?

I've been having really bad sciatica pain. I didn't have this with DS so this is a new pain.

We're supposed to be building an addition this spring/summer (a master suite and playroom) and this little lady will be taking our current room. Until we have a room, we can't really do much. I do know I want to paint her room purple. That's about it!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? RLP has been really bad these last two days, and I've been feeling exhausted again! I took a 2 hr nap yesterday which I haven't done since 1st tri. I was hoping I would get a reprieve until 3rd tri, but guess not!

We're living in a two bedroom house right now and are planning on buying a place early next year so for the first 4/5 months the baby will be in our room. I'm a little concerned about how this will actually work but I know it will be worth it when we finally own our own place! I loved getting DS's nursery ready so I'll have to find some other way to nest, like organizing and creating a nice little space for the baby in our room.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Having an 11 month old and being 21 weeks preggo is tiring when DH works out of town 16 days a month

Questions? Has anyone weaned their babe while preggo?? Did you new milk come in fine for the new baby?

A day late, as usual!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? SPD is kicking in (pelvic discomfort), but otherwise feeling pretty good.

This baby will inherit her older sister's nursery. We've mostly redone the guest room for DD's "big girl room", but are moving her into there in May. Once DD has been moved over, we'll set up the crib in the nursery, pull out the newborn clothes, and we'll be all set. Walls are coral, with white furniture and trim. Accents in pink, green and blue.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Had some minor back pain yesterday but nothing really major. I am still pretty exhausted in the afternoon and hope the 2nd trimester energy comes soon!! Just got back from our anatomy scan where is was double confirmed we are having a girl (had NIPT done), all else looked good too!

Currently our 3 year old daughter is in the room so we are clearing out our guest bedroom to transform that into a "big" girl room for her. Once we move her in there we can redo the nursery for the baby. I don't have a theme just a color scheme which is pink or coral, gold, and mint!

@Caileybug Facing the weaning thing how.. DD is 21 months and only nursing twice per day (if that.) I was planning to wean at 2 years, if not go tandem, but 1. its really hurting. 2. She's just not as interested. I'm not sure how it works when the new baby comes? I guess your body just handles it??
