Scheduled to get an IUD next week..I originally decided to go with the mirena because I hadn't heard of skyla. Now I'm reconsidering my options. If you're planning on getting an IUD, which are you going with and why? This will be my first time getting one!
Re: Mirena or Skyla?
FYI...I can only speak to my experience, but the day it got "installed" it hurt like a mother. Horrible cramping to the point I was in tears. I was perfectly fine the next morning, but the first 12-24 hours, it was equally as painful as labor.
