Have my "nurse talk" appointment on Wednesday - w00t. It's over the phone, so won't get to see or hear anything cute. I'm wondering if they'll put in an order for my bloodwork.
My next u/s is Wednesday and I should be released from my RE afterwards I'm hoping to see Baby wiggle and dance on the u/s.

Going to see my family MD this afternoon to schedule another US to check the bleed, and IPS screening. Still waiting on the OB on the 14th, still feels like forever away!
I have my first OB appointment this afternoon. It starts with a visit to a nurse to talk about some stuff, then I get to see my OB and should do an ultrasound and pap and other typical first visit stuff.

My first OB appointment and ultrasound are tomorrow morning! Of course there's a tiny part of my PGAL brain that has me anxious I'm going to be met with bad news, but for the most part I'm just overwhelmingly excited. My nausea and fatigue sometimes distract me from the fact that I'm not just sick, but that there's actually a little human inside of me. I can't wait to hear its heartbeat and see it on the ultrasound, and I think that will make my pregnancy feel more real.
Also, H told me this morning that he really wants to come to the appointment. I don't mind him coming at all, and I can't blame him for wanting to see the ultrasound, but I did give him a fair warning that they'd be doing a pelvic exam as well. Obviously he's seen all my downstairs before, but it still seems sort of awkward to think of him being in there for it! Anybody else have a SO in there with you before? Did it go alright?
I have my first u/s on Thursday 4/7. I'm so incredibly nervous. I just want everything to be healthy and happy. My symptoms are really mild, but this is my very first pregnancy ever so I am not sure what my "normal" is.
@grannysmith912 he can just sit behind the pull curtain maybe? Not like there's anything to hear! I dont think it will be bad....my husband is brazilian and we lived in brazil for 5 years (thankfully moved to the US a year ago) i had to have him in the room for every type of medical appointment as my translator during my first year! Ugh excersize in humility. At least your husband is in there for a baby appointment and not a regular gyno visit, so should be exciting for him
I had my first OB appointment today, and all I got was.....
...30 days worth of PNVs.
It's what I was expecting, but still. Jealous of all you ladies who get U/S right away. I have to book a separate appointment, and who knows when that will be!
@grannysmith912 I've had my DH in the exam room loads of times during procedures where there is a doc poking around in my vagina. It has never been awkward for him because, as a doctor, it is their job to do that. It is in no way sexual, if that's what you're concerned about. One time my doc even asked my DH if he'd like to see my cervix (DH politely declined). They'll usually have Hs stand/sit up above your waist, if they aren't interested in seeing anything (similar to when you give birth, H can watch, but doesn't have to).

@Seattleite86@AandDM2014 Thanks! I figured that it wasn't terribly uncommon, and that it would be a good way to ease him into the idea of being in the room when the baby is eventually delivered. But it's definitely encouraging to hear from others that it doesn't have to be awkward!
@grannysmith912 I got back from my appointment a little while ago and my doc didn't even do a pap as I've had one less than three years ago (though I was told to expect one). He did a std test, which involved a long q-tip in my vagina, but that was it.

I had my 4th u/s today (being very closely watched). I got to see my two little gummy bears, hearts beating perfectly! I saw them Friday as well, but there was a third sac we weren't sure what would happen with. That sac is very small now, so we officially have a twin pregnancy and I couldn't be more thrilled!!
