But here I am. A little of my backstory. I lost my firstborn son at 3 days old due to hypo plastic left heart syndrome, I then went on to have healthy children that are 9, 7, and 2. Between the 7 and 2, I had 2 miscarriages, and now in the last 6 months I've had two miscarriages, this last one was on Monday night, our 13 week, 3 day old babes heart stopped beating. We had a D&C which resulted in massive hemorrhaging, but I seem to be recovering well. So this is my 5th total loss. Our doctor sent the remains out for testing to find out the cause of death, and he wants us to wait 2-3 months, he's going to perform every possible test he can think of to rule out any thing he might have missed in testing before, and then he said he will clear us to try again. We are so nervous to even try again, even with 3 children, it's so hard to hope when you've lost 5 babies. So anyway, I'm going to hang out here for the next few months until we are cleared again. I'm so sorry that you have to be here, but this is a wonderfully supportive and caring community that will help you feel less alone.
Your doctor seems wonderful. It won't heal your heart, of course, but I'm sure it is encouraging that he is going to do so much testing and investigating to try to find out what may be causing your losses.
