Re: Milestone Monday

  • My LO is 10.5w and she let out the odd laugh/giggle yeaterday. Just two or three times. Shes been smiling for weeks and I've been waiting for the giggles. Also she slept 10-7 and just fell back asleep (830). We put room darkening curtains in her room yesterday. Coincidence?

  • My unicorn may be back! LO ate his last bottle around 8pm and drifted off to sleep on his own then slept until 6:45 this morning. He stirred a few times throughout the night but no real crying or whining. I really hope sttn sticks around for good now! (10.5 weeks)

  • We got a major laugh yesterday! We had seen little chuckles here and there, but yesterday the three of us laughed for maybe 20 seconds straight. It was so great! We also had our first 8-hour sleep stretch this week, and much more regular nap days. 10.5 weeks here too.

Yes on the laughing! 12 weeks and he's started laughing, particularly on the changing table. My boy likes to have a clean butt and he thinks having a naked butt is hilarious!
  • Aww!! I got one chuckle the other day and it about scared him to death. Haha I can't wait to hear all the giggles!
  • Giggles! And grabbing for toys! Occasionally he holds on to the toys! 11 weeks old
  • I've gotten lots of little laughs from my girl! 13 weeks now! Sometimes when she's getting grumpy from sleepiness but I'm being silly she can't decide whether to laugh or cry. I always laugh at her because it looks so funny! I love seeing the little personality bloom out of my sweet baby! For sure makes everything more interesting!
  • 11 weeks and LO rolled from belly to back! She is getting so big! We have also had a few little giggles. LO went with big brother to daycare today for her trial run.

  • Great idea for a thread!  LO is 8 weeks today and, as of a couple of days ago, she started hitting her toys to make them move when I hold them above her!  It was so exciting to see that little connection when she realized she could make them dance if she hit them.  I feel like grasping is just around the corner.  :)  Also, biiiiig smiles.  She had been doing the sort of reflexive smile thing for a while, but now we're getting social smiles.  She was grinning up a storm today when I sang to her and she smiles a lot when I turn the lights off and she sees me in different lighting (not sure why that's so fascinating to her, but she loves it.)

    The smiles:
