This is my first cycle charting. I lost my baby at 24 weeks back on Jan 5th. We are somewhat trying, but I'm mostly charting just to see what's happening with my cycle. I know I have longer cycles, but I'm so confused what my chart is doing. I thought I finally O'd on CD 30 as I jumped up a whole degree (tested at the same time, before I got out of bed, didn't take any meds or drink, and am not sick) but then the next day it dropped down again. I'm not sure if it's my hormones are out of wack, or if my CVS brand BBT thermometer isn't the best. Does anyone have any thoughts or brand suggestions? Thanks!

My Sweet Baby Gabriella was born still on January 5th, 2016. Forever in my heart.

On a side note: I'm very sorry for you loss. Please add a trigger warning (TW).
Also, I'd definitely encourage you to participate in the daily WTO/TWW threads. You can ask questions about charts in either thread and often you'll get more replies that way. Plus it's the best way to get to know everyone.

Boards are the general "rooms" for different subjects like "Trying to Get Pregnant" "First Trimester," etc. Threads are the topics that are listed inside the board. Every day someone stated a wto (waiting to ovulate) and tww (two week wait) thread for us to discuss, rant, ask questions. It's how we keep the board uncluttered and make sure we can keep track of how everyone in our community is doing! It's certainly not necessary to post every day, but I find the Mir I post and get involved in daily threads the more I get out of the community.
So sorry about your loss. As for your chart, I wouldn't worry about one temperature. See what happens over the next few days.
****TW loss mentioned****
I had an anovulatory cycle after my loss. It was 60 days of rocky mountain temps. My doc said that's fairly typical after a loss.
I'd also recommend a Mabis either way.
I hope you'll stick around. Lots of support here.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I have had a few losses and I have yet to have a cycle go back to "normal" in between them. I know it's frustrating not really knowing what's going on. I probably would get another thermometer if the cvs one has bad reviews, you already have enough uncertain variables but switching thermometers coukd throw off your chart too.
Good luck!
