Skydiving, I guess? I didn't really think it was scary, though. At least not once I got up there and jumped. It was awesome!

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Been feeling some kicks for a few weeks now. I can't wait until they're more consistent, I tend to freak a little if I haven't felt something in a while.
GTKY: What’s one of the scariest things you’ve ever done? Besides becoming a mom? Probably deciding to do it all over again! Scariest NBR I've ever done would have to be my first triathlon- swimming in open water with 100+ other women is bananas!!
@MojieJo I agree about skydiving!! I did think the very moment before jumping, when I was standing in the door of the plane, was the scariest moment of my life -- I actually came to terms with the fact that I was about to die. But then I jumped, and it just felt so weightless and amazing -- not like falling at all, and I wanted to do it all over again! I totally understand why people find that sort of thing addicting.
@Ah825 Are you asking if it's ok that you lost weight? Or that you're back to your starting weight? Both are fine

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Still having aversions to smells, especially cigarettes. Just nasty. I've been craving sunshine... Symptoms? I feel fat! Definitely in that awkward "is she fat or pregnant" stage.
GTKY: What’s one of the scariest things you’ve ever done? I feel like I've accomplished some pretty amazing things bit have never really been scared. I think that's why they've turned out to be successful, I didn't do it unless it felt right. I've moved quite a few times without knowing a soul or having a job. Most recently at work my patient spontaneously delivered a preemie in the middle of the night when I was alone. That was scary as hell but successful.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I have a mixed rant/rave. We are short staffed at one of my jobs so I've been working 14 hour days on the weekends. I spoke to manager at job #1 (coffee shop) to see if until the show ends at my other job (box office) if he could not schedule me on the weekends. He said sure and promptly made it happen. I'm excited to not have to be up at 630 on the weekends but I'm sad because I won't see any of my weekend regulars for a month. With that said, my manager at the theatre felt bad she was working me so hard so she also cut my hours on the weekends. Ugh. We can't really afford for my work load to go down quite yet. Now instead of 28 hours on the weekend I have 12...

GTKY: What’s one of the scariest things you’ve ever done?i wish mine was exciting scary like skydiving instead it is just stupid scary. As a 19 year old, my friend and I met some guys online. We went on a double date to the movies and that was fine. They texted us the next day to invite us for steak and beer at their house. We thought it was a great idea and accepted their invitation. They picked us up at our house and we both told our parents that we were sleeping at each other's house. Nobody else knew where we were. We get to their house (about a 30 minute drive from where we live) and proceeded to drink and have a great time. One of the guys turned out to be nice and fairly respectful but the guy I was with was pushy and if it wasn't because he was totally drunk and passed out when I went to the bathroom, the night probably would have ended with me getting raped. He was really pushy and not listening to the fact that I didn't want to have sex with him. We didn't have a car, we were drunk, we didn't know where we were and we were in a house with 3 men we had just met. We were very lucky that besides an awful hangover we both walked out alive and unscathed.

GTKY: What’s one of the scariest things you’ve ever done? Getting on a plane and flying to Italy to have my first date/ get engaged my my husband. We were only 18/19 at the time and we had already met but still barely knew each other. Best week of my life and still going strong 8 years and almost 3 kids later.

Upcoming appointments? I have to go for the second stage of my genetic testing tomorrow, and next midwife appt is on the 17th.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My rave is my energy level is better than ever. It helps that I had a week and a half off from my nursing clinical to recharge. My appetite is coming back, and I'm no longer gagging when I brush my teeth so that's awesome. I'm having a very relaxing day, woke up early, did some laundry, and now I'm having a coffee and adulting hard by watching The Lion King. #winningatlife.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Avocado on toast with cheese, a fried egg and like half a bottle of Franks. Dear God, it's amazing. And mangos, which is weird because I usually find they taste like soap. I also discovered pomegranate elderflower water, which tastes incredibly similar to my favourite rose wine. MS is gone, but heartburn has replaced it with a fiery vengeance. Fruit juice is the worst, especially before bed. Also think I'm starting to feel the baby moving a bit, when I'm lying still I can feel little butterflies and flips in my tummy
GTKY: What’s one of the scariest things you’ve ever done? When I was 20 I decided to do the au pair thing and travelled on my own for the first time to Italy. Lived there for 6 months, and it was amazing, but definitely a huge shift in my perspective. I had a hard time adjusting at first, especially to the new cultural norms and the language, but I got it eventually. I would love to go back to the place I was living (Cagliari, on Sardegna). It was paradise, and the family I was with were so kind and lovely.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm kind of annoyed that, the farther along I've gotten in this pregnancy, the more stressed I am. With DS and DD, it was the opposite. Every milestone that I hit, I felt better about carrying them to term and that they were doing just fine in there. With these two, I was extremely confident from the beginning and everyone has been shocked. But I keep wondering how different this pregnancy will end up being with life being so different now from my first pregnancy. Hoping to feel better tomorrow after the anatomy scan though.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Nothing sounds good lately. I haven't eaten dinner the past two nights because I'm just not feeling it. I'd love it if was craving something right now. The problem is, when I end up craving something, it's usually something from a restaurant that we don't have down here.
GTKY: What’s one of the scariest things you’ve ever done? I don't tend to push my limits as far as what I think is scary. I guess the closest I've come is going on a cruise. While I enjoyed the experience overall, I was scared to be out on the open water with no land in sight.
I suppose though that having kids is a pretty terrifying experience TBH.

GTKY: What’s one of the scariest things you’ve ever done? I was an instructional aide for 7.5 years, and while still completing my credential, I took a job as a special education teacher. It was scary, and a huge change, but a necessary one. I have been working in the same place for over 2 years now.

Upcoming appointments? Just saw OB on Thursday and all was good. No more appointments until the A/S which isn't until 21 weeks or so
Rants/Raves/Questions? Anyone else having issues with determining space? I keep walking into pieces of furniture and recently parallel parking is more complicated! I don't get it...I've been driving for 20 years and all of a sudden have issues parking?
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Finally getting over my aversion to chicken! Nothing too remarkable otherwise except that I get full so much faster than before then am hungry an hour later.
GTKY: What’s one of the scariest things you’ve ever done? Nothing adrenaline based is immediately coming to mind so I'd have to say moving alone across the country at 23 with $1800 in the bank, no friends, family or job lined up at my destination and not speaking french. It all worked out but definitely taught me a few things about myself, my strength and what I am capable of.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Naursea on occasion. The first migrane of my life was on Thursday and I've had near constant headaches since then. / Olives, all the time! / Strong smells. Someone said cigarettes earlier and I second that!
GTKY: What’s one of the scariest things you’ve ever done? Not on purpose, but... When I was in grade school my dad moved to Korea. We were getting on the subway one day. I got on, my father stood aside to let an older lady on, and then the doors closed with me on the train and my dad on the platform. I was in a foreign country with no knowledge of the language other than "thank you". I rode to the next station and got off and waited for the next train. My dad got off and was the most panicked I've ever seen him (he's usually a very lax, to say the least, father). His first words out of his mouth were, "Don't tell your mother!" (my parents had just had a pretty contentious divorce. We got on the next train and continued on to the mall.

Still nothing major happening. No midnight pickle needs or middle of the bathroom trips, honestly if it wasn't for the bump and lack of a period I wouldn't believe I was even pregnant.
GTKY: What's the scariest thing you have ever done?
Oh how I wish I had a good one for this, The scariest thing I have ever done would probably be...a ropes course? it wouldn't have been so bad if my harness hadn't gotten stuck 75 feet up with crazy winds.

Rant: We moved this weekend! So excited to be in our new place, but OMG was it hard not to be able to contribute much to the process. I had such terrible stress dreams about everything not getting done, but me not being able to do it either.

Thankfully, the nausea is pretty much gone now!! And I have more energy! Yay 2nd tri!
GTKY: What’s one of the scariest things you’ve ever done?
I don't know, I'm scared of everything, lol. I try my hardest not to let it stop me, though. I've never NOT done something because I was too scared--oh! Except for my public speaking class. Yeah, I dropped out of that one before giving my first speech.
@marikkita12 Ha! Your scary thing reminds me a little too much of my own teen years. I should be dead at least one hundred times over from the stupid decisions I made, lol.

Jumped off of a bridge when I was in high school. But looking back at it, it was much less scary than it seemed at the time.
