Hair loss

anyone else?? I think I remember reading somewhere that hair loss was a normal thing after birth but my gosh my hair is coming out like crazy. I have always had nice but frustrating thick hair and now it is so thin and falling out without even touching it, and of course doesn't help that baby is now grabbing and pulling it like they are her personal reins! My scalp even feels tender and I'm wondering if they're related. I thought keeping up with the prenatals would keep my hair strong but I guess not.

    I'm balding like a dog with mange. It's awful!! I'm scared to take my hair down at the end of the night because I always get clumps that could be made into Barbie wigs. This also happened when I first got pregnant so my dh keeps asking if I am. NOPE. Lol

    By all the laws of nature I should be bald by now with how much I'm shedding... I hope it stops soon before I need to make a wig for myself out of my sheddings...

    Yep, same here too! You're not alone. I didn't shed any hair at all during pregnancy it seemed like (like only 3 or 4 single strands every shower) and now it's crazy opposite!

    I shed like crazy after my son and I was starting to get super excited as it hadn't hit me yet... until now. It seemed a lot sooner after my first pregnancy.

    Very normal! My hairdresser reminded me the other day that it will happen and I'll think I'm going bald (but not really!). Mine hasn't started yet but she said Breastfeeding delays it.

    When did eveyone start to lose? I've read it's at about 3 months? I'm really dreading it, I already have super fine hair. I had hair loss immediately following a miscarriage but not yet at about 9.5 weeks after baby.

    I have crazy thick hair. And it has begun as of today. My brush was full. My biggest worry is hair tourniquets! I check those fingers and toes all the time. My freinds sil recently had to take her baby to the er. She almost lost her little toe.

    Baby will be 12 weeks on Monday. It started at about 10-11 weeks pp. Also, my hair is extremely curly, but very thin. 

    I'm just going that baby girl gains all the hair I lose. I was bald until I was 3, so here's to hoping LO gets her Daddy's thick hair!
