So..... Due date was yesterday for me. Baby's been more active though. Any one else overdue? Any good signs that it won't be much longer? Or is it all just a waiting game... I'm so bored.

Today is my due date. I am going to a kids consignment sale then car shopping. 4.5 cm dilated. 90% effaced. No reason to lay around. Haha!!!

I was due yesterday (March 4) and my mucus plug just fell out today. LO is active as can be! I have an u/s and nst scheduled for Monday. Should be induced by end of this week if i don't go into labor myself

Bought a car!!! New to me but a great mommy car. Mazda CX-7. That stress is over. Now DS1 has been coughing all night. Maybe stress is preventing this from turning into real labor.

DH made a comment Saturday that now that it's been days past my due date he feels like the odd are going down that this little guy is even coming, even though it's actually the opposite. lol I'm starting to almost feel the same...like I'm going to slowly reabsorb him. Maybe I should start taking bets.

Due date is today. No real signs of labor. I've been two cms dilated for two weeks. Lost my mucus plug a week ago. Still no baby. Stm, my first was born at 41 weeks. Guess I have a cozy uterus. We'll be scheduling the induction at my Dr appointment tomorrow. I'm so ready to meet this baby and find out if I have a daughter out another son!!

@kitkatbird me too!!! I was due last Wednesday and I don't have a doc appt until Tues, which is when we will schedule induction. Seems like a lifetime watching everyone else have their LOs to hold!!!

Same...my due date was yesterday and watching it come and go was a little disheartening. My birthday is tomorrow so that would be cool to share it but I'm not getting my hopes up. Gahhh it's so hard to wait!!!

5 days overdue...almost 6 now...and it's my second pregnancy so I was kind of expecting to have this baby a little sooner. Noticing a lot of Braxton hicks contractions the past two days, which I've never felt in either pregnancy until now. Had about 2 hours of consistent but mild contractions last night that fizzled out...what a tease! I've watched two Facebook friends who were due AFTER me have their babies already. At this point I'm just annoyed haha

4 days overdue... These have been the longest 4 days ever! Have an appointment today but we won't induce until 42 weeks. My last appointment I was 2-3 cm and 80% effaced... Otherwise no real signs that baby is coming anytime soon. Sigh c'mon baby!!!!!

Not overdue yet but am 38 + 5, 50% effaced and not dilated at all, I know I still have time until my due date but I just have a feeling this little guy is gonna stay in there as long as he possibly can! BH contractions have gotten a little more intense but still not happening very frequently. Hoping my at home remedies to get labor going will eventually kick-in!

Officially hit my due date today, but had an NST and Dr appt this morning. My BP has been all out of whack so I am being induced on Thursday. Excited, nervous, scared... FTM and have no idea what to expect, but as long as I get my beautiful healthy daughter in the end I'll be happy!

Due date was Monday the 14th, we are inducing tomorrow morning to give little dude an extra push and because my doctor is leaving town for 2 weeks and I refuse to deliver with another doc. We will be 40+3 and I am so ready to meet this little man!

I am 41 weeks today and starting induction with Cervadil tonight. Tomorrow morning they break my water and I should have a St Pat's Day baby! The last two weeks have been excruciating pain-wise. Can't walk, can't sleep, my insides feel like they are being crushed. Bathroom trips and eating any bite of food is hell. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Can't wait for this to be over about 24 hours from now!!!!

5 days overdue now and had a mini emotional break down this morning. I never expected to go more than a couple days past our due date and I'm NOT having promising signs that labor is coming soon. Had a membrane sweep yesterday morning which the midwife felt
confident about... Obviously it didn't end up
working. How are the rest of you overdue mommas hanging in there emotionally?

This is not my first time to go significantly past my due date, but I am handling it SO much worse this time around. I cry every day. I feel like I'm having postpartum hormones before the baby even gets here! Usually I'm more relaxed, with a "baby will come when baby is ready" mindset, and I don't focus on my due date very much. Logically it all makes sense that not every baby comes at or before 40 weeks, but when it's actually happening to you, it can be so hard! If I get even one Braxton Hicks I start getting excited and then devastated. It's completely ridiculous.

No real advice, but you're not alone in feeling emotional ha!

ETA: I am getting more ambitious with every day that passes though. I've stopped trying to "save my strength" for labor whenever I get a bit of energy and instead I'm just trying to get things done and keep busy so I don't focus on it too much. My house is getting very, very clean.

@ClaireBear90 yes! I said the same thing to my husband about feeling like I was having PPD before the baby is even here!! Any little thing makes me break down and every time I get a "any signs of baby yet?" Text I about lose it!!
Yesterday was better than the day before and so far today I'm hanging in there. Officially 41 weeks today. I know it's not abnormal... We actually learned in our Bradley class that without intervention the average pregnancy is more like 41w1d so it's not like I'm some kind of freak of nature here!!

my guess date was the 15th (so only 4d ago, and i tend to be a 41w'er) but this time i am way more impatient and emotional and uncomfy and just DONE. i want this baby out and in my arms *now* and i am feeling super frustrated. every morning i wake up like "how am i even still pregnant?!" and just want to cry by the end of the day ... soon ...

Hit my due date today. Everyone is becoming more impatient by the day but this little guy is just comfy as can be. Can't say the same for me though! I'm having major Braxton hicks and crampy like I've been doing sit ups. Sleep is a no go and even eating is uncomfortable. Doc appt tomorrow, hopefully will find out more then.

Thought I would have my baby in my arms by now (due on the 30th but I was secretly hoping for the 20th since DD came 10 days early). I was just told that he is very comfy inside. I guess I will be going to DD's Easter performance and egg hunt at daycare this Friday. OB said next week we will talk about getting induced.

Here too. I'm 41 + 1. Starting to get anxious he has been in position for a while and I've had contractions but they're always "false" even though they are definitely real lol they always stop. Today is an US NST for us. Dreading being induced (both my last 2 I had pitocin) but I dread week 42 even more. Sigh come on baby!

I'm 39 weeks today and just got back from the Dr. No dilation no thinning no freakin nothing... i was hoping to get my membranes stripped today. I am so over this, I have been crying all morning. This is baby #2 and i'm just nervous labor (and progression) with this one is going to be as awful as the first one

I'm 40 was today. Going to be induced on Monday if nothing happens. Got freaked out at my last appt on monday because baby has an irregular heartbeat- normally they would send me to a perinatologist but at this point in pregnancy there isn't much point. After researching it I am not very worried about the heartbeat as this particular problem has very low risks, but I'm ready to have this baby! Hoping baby comes this weekend because being induced scares the you-know-what out of me.

Officially overdue. So fucking done. I'm swinging from anger and annoyance to hysterical crying as I want my baby. Doctor on Tuesday where we can discuss what to do next if I don't go into labour before. Doesn't help that a woman I went to school with had her baby yesterday (my due date), two weeks early. Just feels like she is never, ever, coming out. I'm not even having braxton hicks contractions anymore.

And if one more person calls me to ask if I had the baby yet I'm going to scream. MIL literally has been calling 2-3 times a day for a month, and we tell her-when I go into labour we will tell her. Not going to have a baby, stay in the hospital for days, come home, and forget to call her.

I'm right there with you, love. I was due the 25th. I've had two lengthy hospital stays due to a very bad placental abruption & kept being told that my baby would be early. Here we are, 40 weeks & 3 days with ZERO signs of oncoming labor. Tuesday I had an internal exam & I'm not even effaced or dilated... so... yeah. : (

I'm 2 days overdue now, and the wait is excruciating! My Dr. keeps saying soon, but it gets harder to keep positive. Hopefully he'll decide to come on his own! Not really a fan of being induced.

Finally had my little one, ended up being 13 days past due. Felt like the longest 2 weeks of my life and I started to think I was just going to be pregnant forever.
Anyone still waiting, keep the faith! You'll meet your kiddos soon, and even the extra time will be totally worth it. Good luck mamas!
