@MRSCORKER which test? I got the basic one that only screens for trisomy 13/18/21 last Thursday and got the results today when I called. They were supposed to call me though so I'm not sure exactly when they got the results...
@MRSCORKER I had my NT and they told me that they usually only do the maternity21 OR the NIPT blood test, (I think that's what they called it?) which I didn't know, and already had the maternity21 done so no other test for me.
I had the finger prick done about a week before the ultrasound and they were able to give me the results right after the ultrasound, so I think a week is probably right.
That's interesting because I had the NT ultrasound and finger prick done at the same time. Then was told I'll come back at 16weeks for one more blood test. Then they put all the results into a report to show risks for any of what they are testing for.
But after a quick Dr. Google it appears the 16 weeks is the quad screen and they are just cross checking numbers from both tests before they give the report.
Sorry it is sideways! This is my second one, the first you could just see the gestational sac. This was at 6 weeks 5 days I do believe. I will be 10 weeks tomorrow and have an appointment next week but I don't think I will have an ultrasound. So excited to be having a little one!

Did anyone go in for their 12 week scan and not see the baby move? We had a 15 minute ultrasound and even with lots of prodding, the baby didn't move at all.
Ultrasound at 6 weeks on the left and 12 on the right! We had an early ultrasound because we miscarried twins at 11 weeks in September of 2014. I am so happy we were about to see a heart beat in both of these! The ultrasound on the left is the top of his/her head with the body to the left and that little white dot as the flicker of the heartbeat❤️
@fitlady21 I mentioned in my post earlier my LO wasn't in the right position and I had to keep rolling from side to side. However, once she was able to get measurements we still didn't see lots of movements like others have mentioned here. I wasn't thinking much of it until now.... Following to hear from others
They were able to get measurements and the heartbeat and everything with the position the baby was in.. Just zero movement. The tech said they usually move but not to worry. It was an early appointment and I hadn't had anything to eat or drink yet so I'm curious if that was why.
@fitlady21 I had a similar experience Thursday. My LO was sleeping and it took us an hour to get him/her {Team Green} to move. The nurse told me that I could have been from the Zofran I took earlier since drowsiness is a side effect. She actually made me feel like a bad mom for taking it. Asshole.
Anyway, the MD said the LO could have just been sleepy and didn't want to be bothered. At any rate, I've been puking my brains out since yesterday because I no longer want to take the medicine.
Heart rate was 152 if that matter to anyone.

12 week ultrasound! Doc took a peek for fun and we didn't see any boy parts yet (I have 3 boys currently). She said we should find out at my next appointment!
Posting from my phone, so apologies if this is huge. From NT scan. 12 weeks 2 days. HB 159. Little bug did not want to cooperate at first, but we got a good view finally!
My 12-week scan was a lot blurrier than my 9-week scan, probably because they were going through all the fat in my tummy rather than taking the shortcut. Most of the pics look like what others posted above, but I thought this one was interesting because it looks like Baby is imitating Edvard Munch's The Scream. (Assuming baby is melodramatic like me...) She waved her arms around. My husband said he was able to see the heart beating in the chest, too, although I missed that (possibly because my monitor was further away and at an angle). Everything looks good!
This is from yesterday...exactly 12 weeks but measuring 12w3d. Heart rate was 163 and baby danced around for us quite a bit Unfortunately it's not the clearest but when i asked the tech if everything looked good she said yes.
NT scan this morning (12 weeks today), and everything was beautiful and perfect! Baby was flipping around, showing all parts and sides. HR 156, 2.27 inches long, measuring 2 days ahead, but they didn't change my due date. The pictures we brought home aren't super clear, but when we were in the room seeing it live it was incredible. I'm also loving seeing all the blobs turn into little humans. My little alien is 6 times bigger than 5 weeks ago.
@mrszoessI was a freaking wreck this morning. DH didn't know what to do with me. Then for an hour afterwards, I kept telling him how relieved I was. I hope everything goes well for you!

So excited
Got our 12 week (actually 13) scan this morning and baby waved hello!
Ultrasound nurse said everything looked good, which is great because I don't actually see my doc until Friday.
