Hi, new here (loss mentioned)

I am 31, and DH is 35. My FSH is on the low end of notmal, other tests normal although there seems to be a problem with the quality of my eggs. DH has low sperm count. We have been trying for 2 years. We have had 3 IUIs and 2 ivf cycles. The first cycle ended with a chemical pregnancy. The second cycle ended last week due to an arrested embryo and the two not fertilizing. The RE is now suggesting donor eggs.

I have been following posts on and off for a few months but finally decided to join. I know of no one else in my area going through this and would love to speak with people who understand. Thanks!

Hi @Kp214 - just wanted to say hello and welcome you. I have been lurking on these discussion boards for a while but just started posting recently. I am in a similar situation as you - we haven't been encouraged to use a donor yet, but have done 5 IUIs and 2 IVF cycles (one fresh, one frozen) with no success (did have two chemical pregnancies along the way - one natural and one from the first IVF cycle). I wish you all the best - you are not alone in your fertility journey.

Hi, dear Kp214! I'm so sorry you're among the group. I wish it could never happen to us at all. But seems this is just impossible. I've also got a long medical history and our fertility journey started 6 years ago when I faced 2 early miscarriages in a row. (When we started TTC actively for a baby#1) form that time and up to 21 week ago this was the horrible waiting game looming all our positive hopes with every other failure.. This is so very hard and from time to time seems even unbearable. Our journey ended in Ukraine, Biotexcom clinic where we applied for egg donation ivf. I'm an endo and PCOS sufferer. Earlier had unsuccessful surgery which caused my left ovary scarring. My eggs couldn't mature any more (in a while some other health problems added). We booked 5 att program then. But got pregnant with the 3rd att. Now everything is behind, only sweet waiting for our tiny. But this point is so very close to me, that I couldn't but answered your post. You may ask whatever you'd like to to make head or tail of what to wait for in case with going on with DE. Feel absolutely free and just know you aren't alone on this path.
