Bad taste in mouth

I have an extremely annoying taste in my mouth all day and getting stronger- cloyingly sweet on both sides of my tongue, so intense that I can't forget about it! I read that metallic taste is common in pregnancy. I wouldn't describe it that way but I can imagine this might be similar. I did not have this with my first pregnancy.

Are others experiencing a strange taste in your mouth? Does it go away??? Is there anything that helps?

I've been getting a weird taste, too. I've tried drinking milk or peanut butter. They usually work. I've also used a popsicle to mask it. The preggo pop candies seem to make it worse.
