@QueenSunscreen - LOVE LOVE LOVE the table. And the furrybabies. Where did you get it? The table... not the pups, obviously. @CanonMom & @NamelessAria - I have pinterest boards too... in the plural. I have one for conceiving tips (mostly BS, but when you're desperate, you'll try anything), one for pregnancy, one for infertility& m/c, and one for parenting advice....And it's absolutely ridiculous I have that many boards but no children.
@PaukMeKiande & @Buthayna - I also get immense joy from being the youngest. At work the next youngest person is still older than my mom! But I am always getting statements like this: "Kristin, we need an office baby, you're our only hope!" "Kristin, we need a party and no one is retiring anytime soon, so can you just get pregnant?"

My confession is that...I've been a complete horndog since going off of HBC. I want it pretty much all day every day and have to force myself to take breaks for the health of my vag, which I don't think I was successful at this month. My drive has always been low for the 9 years we've been together and it became a real tense issue once we got married (I think DH internalized all the stereotypes about married people never having sex and thus kept harping on our "poor sex life"). I've been really happy to actually want him and want to HIO often and it's made it easier for us to get through recent challenges I think.

I went through so long feeling afraid of my sexuality, not wanting to be touched in certain places, not wanting to get "too into" sex due to being sexually assaulted as a teenager that I'm so grateful to be in this place where I feel confident and sexy and know that I have a partner who will always take care of me. I actually cried the first few times DH and I slept together because it just felt so nice and I didn't know what to do. His caring response is part of how I knew he was a keeper. This may have been too much for what this thread is intended for but...yea. I felt like I needed to share that.

I added stuff to the board fairly frequently while we were waiting to try and right after we started TTC. No I never touch it. I just can't. It's too hard to think about all that stuff.
Same. The year before we started ttc I created a secret board with all the practical stuff like "12 pictures to take of your newborn on Day 1" and "10 things I couldn't live without post-partum", and maternity fashion, belly bands, diapering service ideas, etc. By month 8 of ttc I couldn't deal so I started clicking "I'm not into pins inspired by Preparing for Baby" left and right. They finally stopped suggesting baby stuff. I haven't looked at it in months. Hurts too much.
I have a nursery board that I started as soon as I joined pinterest, but that's more of an architectural, fantasy-type board and it doesn't bother me. Like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous but for babies haha.

I thoroughly enjoy sex so I can't relate to not liking it. I've always had a healthy sexual appetite and healthy sexual experiences. I'm sorry for those of you who don't. It can be such an amazing thing.

@mrsdaddario you can totally scoot your couch out just a little bit and put one between it and the wall. cute and handy. you just have to make sure that its high enough that you can see decorative items or that you can easily reach drinks and such if you're using it like that. Actually, you could even use a shelf since you wouldn't see the whole table anyway.

To add to the sex talk, and I guess this is a FFFC, I've always been really sexual and loved sex. I still enjoy sex with my husband, but I secret miss the crazy passionate tearing-eachother's-clothes off sex I/we used to have regularly. Now its sweet married people comfortable sex. H has a weird Madonna/Whore complex so it doesn't really work for me to be sexually aggressive, and he's just a low testosterone kinda guy and isn't aggressive in general. Boo.
Maybe this is more of a UO, but my baby Pinterest board (titled "Offspring") is completely visible.
Mine isn't hidden but it's a totally separate account without any personal information on it. 18 Boards. 252 Pins. All baby and pregnancy related.
Now I'm just curious about your 18 boards. I can never find very helpful stuff on Pinterest fertility-wise but do find cute clothes for babies.

@Sparty18 I was like that with wedding/marriage related things. While waiting (not so patiently) for DH to propose I refused to think about anything related to that at all. Once I had the ring I went all out. For some reason my brain isn't working like that with baby and I need to research/plan but I get it. Ultimately whatever works best for your sanity is awesome.
My FFFC is that I don't look at baby/nursery stuff because I'm honestly not interested in it. I've always hated decorating and picking out clothes and it transfers to any future offspring too. That's more my DH's area. But I definitely look up everything on getting pregnant. So I more than make up for it.

Since we're on a Pinterest theme, on the negative Nancy side of this, I started a (secret) infertility board this week. I have found some good resources for making treatment more affordable and whatnot! But it's definitely way less fun than pinning baby things.
I guess my real FFFC is that I can't make myself go to the Infertility board on TB. I just like it here on TTGP, and there are so many other IF ladies here too, that I want to stay where I'm happy!

I'm like this with the TTCAL. I've posted a handful of times and the ladies there are extremely supportive, but unfortunately it brings up too many negative emotions for me. I can't handle that much every day.
@houseofsetters That seems reasonable to me on the whole not wanting to go to the IF boards. I mostly hang out here but occasionally I'll pop over to the TTCAL boards. I feel like I use the TTCAL board more on the especially difficult TTCAL days. But I really love the community here so this is definitely where I primarily post.
If that is a confession then I guess one of my FFFCs today is that I only really post over in TTCAL on the especially hard TTCAL days. Like the days where I can't even open the TWW thread because I'm afraid I'll see a BFP and just lose it. I feel like a bad member of TTCAL with all the posting and ghosting I do and such.

@nwegman7878@NamelessAria I find myself easing over from TTCAL to this board again as well. They are such a wonderful supportive bunch but I don't think it makes a healthy headspace for me to linger too long in my grief. I try to give support whenever I visit, but this board makes me feel more hopeful, if that makes any sense. I imagine my bad days aren't over yet though, so I will remain grateful to those kickass women.
In general, as I get into this next post-loss round of TTC, I want to proactively focus on other non-reproduction related parts of my life and self improvement. I get sucked down the rabbit hole way too easily!

I just realized I have a FFFC of my own today. I used to make fun of my husband mercilessly for the sports-related message board he's been posting on for a decade. I'd go on about his Internet friends and his Internet life and how nerdy it was.
I now have Internet friends. And I realize that he has never said a mean or joking word about it. He's the better person.

DH always says that we shouldn't feed our cat too early in the morning because then Dex (our cat) will get used to being fed early and will turn into an alarm cat. Anytime DH goes off on his "don't feed the cat before 8am" speech I always tell him it's a great idea. But as soon as DH goes out of town for work I feed Dex whenever I wake up to pee. So I'm often feeding him between 5-7am. Having the cat crying at the foot of the bed trying desperately to wake up me usually wakes me up. I can't get a reliable temp if Dex is waking me up at 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, 6:45 etc. so I just go ahead and feed him so I can get some quality sleep. DH doesn't know and has no idea why Dex now tries to wake us up every morning at the crack of dawn. I admit to nothing. Also, sorry not sorry. You gotta do what you gotta do to get reliable temps.

@mrsdee15 Mine are secret because I have many people follow me who know me IRL. Me wanting to keep it secret stems back from not wanting to hurt my SIL's feelings, or having her have to see us planning. (I made a previous post about her having a full hysterectomy at 24. She asked me to surrogate. Told her I wouldnt feel comfortable having two losses of my own.

I thoroughly enjoy sex so I can't relate to not liking it. I've always had a healthy sexual appetite and healthy sexual experiences. I'm sorry for those of you who don't. It can be such an amazing thing.
I don't have any good confessions! Maybe that I "steal" stamps for work lol. But I never try to hide it. I just don't necessarily do it when my boss is around LOL.

To add to the sex talk, and I guess this is a FFFC, I've always been really sexual and loved sex. I still enjoy sex with my husband, but I secret miss the crazy passionate tearing-eachother's-clothes off sex I/we used to have regularly. Now its sweet married people comfortable sex. H has a weird Madonna/Whore complex so it doesn't really work for me to be sexually aggressive, and he's just a low testosterone kinda guy and isn't aggressive in general. Boo.

I guess my real FFFC is that I can't make myself go to the Infertility board on TB. I just like it here on TTGP, and there are so many other IF ladies here too, that I want to stay where I'm happy!

If that is a confession then I guess one of my FFFCs today is that I only really post over in TTCAL on the especially hard TTCAL days. Like the days where I can't even open the TWW thread because I'm afraid I'll see a BFP and just lose it. I feel like a bad member of TTCAL with all the posting and ghosting I do and such.

DH always says that we shouldn't feed our cat too early in the morning because then Dex (our cat) will get used to being fed early and will turn into an alarm cat. Anytime DH goes off on his "don't feed the cat before 8am" speech I always tell him it's a great idea. But as soon as DH goes out of town for work I feed Dex whenever I wake up to pee. So I'm often feeding him between 5-7am. Having the cat crying at the foot of the bed trying desperately to wake up me usually wakes me up. I can't get a reliable temp if Dex is waking me up at 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, 6:45 etc. so I just go ahead and feed him so I can get some quality sleep. DH doesn't know and has no idea why Dex now tries to wake us up every morning at the crack of dawn. I admit to nothing. Also, sorry not sorry. You gotta do what you gotta do to get reliable temps.
