For how popular unpopular opinions are, I'm surprised no one has started this yet! Get too it! Let's see how long it goes before it turns into a discussion solely about food.
And to start, it honestly doesn't phase me whenever people comment on the bump. Maybe it's because I work in geriatrics and old people are baby obsessed, but it's whatever to me. I could write a book of all the weird, unsolicited advice I've received from them up to this point tho.
@cmjenkies I used to work in geriatrics, and I didn't mind the old people at all- just my coworkers, and the non-elderly family members. Perhaps my ou should be that I find a lot of hilarity in dementia. Obviously it's actually a heartbreaking, bullshit phenomenon that should never have to happen, but man do I love remembering the batshit things my grandmother said and did in her last years! We even talk about it as her descendants at the picnic we still hold every year for her birthday, even though she's been gone, what, a dozen years? I guess finding humor in the complete lack of brain/mouth filter is one way to get cope with the horror of them not recognizing their kids, right?
I really don't care about other people's presidential preference as long as it does not impose on me. You like any of the candidates, that's fine! You want to post political criticisms on your facebook that's all up to you. Just keep it off my page and don't expect me to "like and share." I will not unfriend you because I don't care what/who you do or don't like. And I think it's stupid for people to unfriend others because they don't share your opinion.
I start to block people that post too much political shit regardless of if I agree with it or not. I don't want to see political crap on facebook all the time regardless of the side. What's the point anyway? If people don't agree, you won't change their mind and if they do agree, why do you need to advertise to them?

Funny timing - a guy I went to high school with posted this exact thing on facebook last night, complaining that he'd been unfriended by someone for not supporting the same candidate.
I've unfriended people who support Trump, but not because of that support alone. The unfriending was a result of hateful and/or racist things they posted. Since today is UO I'll go ahead and say that I think there is a very high correlation among people who support Trump and people who are hateful and/or racist. The SNL Trump commercial wasn't far off from reality, IMO.
Oh also, after watching a viral video of a pregnant woman dancing with her stomach out, I think that bare pregnant bellies are really gross. Like, I feel really unsettled seeing them. I know they're natural but nothing looks more awkward and unnatural to me than a giant naked alien baby bump.
I don't like naked bare pregnant bellies either. I don't even like my own and I don't like participating in HDBD. I never liked taking pics of myself period.
Also, I thought the SNL Trump commercial was hilarious.
When my Facebook friends post political crap, I stir the pot just for shits and giggles because my dogs can only be so entertaining in the evenings that DH works. They know me well enough to know I'm joking, but their other friends don't and I'm so over this election that I figure I might as well have some fun with it.
I don't like bare naked bellies and I am very much over the election.
I think there should be some kind of leave for the last few weeks of pregnancy. I feel like crap and the fact that I might have to do this another 3 weeks makes me cry.

Amen to that! I have 2 weeks to go and it literally HURTS to walk. I feel like my vagina is going to fall out. I've been getting sympathy from my coworkers because they can see the pain on my face.

I was fortunate to be able to take this week off. Or else I would be really suffering. But amen to starting leave early. My vagina hurts.
I don't know if this is popular or unpopular but I hate wearing dresses. I find them uncomfortable!
I used to, but now I think they're the next best thing to no pants...and no pants are the best pants.
Maxi dresses ftw. It's like getting to wear yoga pants minus the judgment from people who actually expect you to get dressed (like your boss).
My last day of work is tomorrow. I'm literally planning on doing nothing all day. Seriously, why even try when your in your last week, let alone last day?

I've been very pro work for as long as you can but now I am just in pain and I work for a close knit department where everyone want to know "how are you feeling"? As much as I love my boss he is so excited for this baby and I feel like everyone is on baby watch.
Late on this one. So over this batman vs superman movie. Any superhero movie better yet. There are just too many! It makes we wonder if they are actually following the comics or just making up their own (don't read the comics obviously). Deadpool yes that one was good I'll give you that.

My husband is a huge nerd so we see them. All of them. Even the ones we know will be bad. And most of them do follow the comics pretty well, but they're just like movies based on books - producers take some creative leeway and since there are so many overlapping universes for the comics, they kind of tie together whatever best fits their vision for the film. And I thought batman/superman was super predictable...the DC comic movies just aren't as well done as the Marvel ones.
One thing I will miss about being pregnant is a hard belly. I've officially passed the 200 lb mark as of yesterday's appointment and my belly is not flabby! Until Tuesday or Wednesday anyway. Then I'll be squishy again. lol

I had gained about 20# in the previous year and started right at the 200# mark. Here's hoping BFing and summer walking helps to jump kick this weight loss.
I am so sick of superhero movies! They all seem pretty much the same.
I think it seems strange to say anime is dumb unless you have seen a crap ton of different ones. I was never interested in it for most of my life but I started watching a couple shows and they have been interesting so far. I'm sure it's like anything and some are good and some are bad.
@roseshadow873 My husband and daughter are anime freaks and while I like few like Attack on Titan, HellGirl, Angel Beats, Soul Eater, Voltron, Full Metal Alchemist, Studio Ghibli Movies and the first season of Sword Art Online, I don't like the majority of them. Okay um, I guess that would classify me as liking anime? But there are some I really don't like such as Flowers of Evil, Deathnote (it's overrated) and I absolutely cannot stand Kill La Kill. To be honest, I really don't have the patience to sit through most animes. Their overdone facial expressions and exaggerated reactions with the huge circle eyes and circle mouths are just not my style.
I guess my late UO is how much I love comic books and anime! Both gave me a sense of community that I didn't have access to when I was younger. The ironic thing about the style anime uses is how much they try to emulate Westerners. That's why most anime characters are white with blonde hair and more typical American personalities.
Anime can just go away forever, but I do love me some comics! Batman V Superman was the absolute worst movie I have seen in a long time, in part because it was based largely on a single, non-canon novel, but mostly because it had bad acting, bad direction, bad editing, and was approximately as long as the third trimester of pregnancy (thanks for that comparison, Kevin Smith!),with zero sense of humor. Deadpool is amazing, and the R rating gave it licence to be more true to the character than the comics are, which seems like a weird thing to say, but is also true. Oh! And I hate zombies. Really, really hate zombies. I never got on the walking dead bandwagon because zombies are freaky af, and I refuse to watch them at all.
I don't like zombies either but not because I find them even slightly scary. I just think zombie stuff is completely absurd. I also don't understand why so many people went to see the Batman/Superman movie when they knew it would be bad.
Batman has been my husband's favorite comic character since he was a child, so we had to go see it, obvi, haha. I was all for waiting for it to come to the dollar theater and seeing Deadpool again instead.

Still better than any of the Fantastic 4 movies, though.
I kinda felt that way when DH didn't know who Stan Lee was. I'm no comic buff by any means, but I at least know who he is. I couldn't believe DH had no idea!!!
The last guy I dated knew more about comics than the average person, so maybe that's why I was shocked DH didn't know so much hahaha!
I have another one, because we need more in this thread. I don't like comics, anime, and I've really fallen off The Walking Dead wagon.
DH is the one who is into comics and anime, and while I don't like the majority of anime because the style annoys me, he has introduced me to a few that I like: Food Wars, Deathnote, studio Ghibli, Paprika, and Redline.

I've only ever seen the pilot episode of TWD. I've been trying to decide if I want to make it a maternity leave show or not since it's on Netflix.
As for comics, I am neutral. I totally used to buy Archie and Betty/Veronica comic books and read them when I was younger tho.
