This may be a second time mom thing but I have known for months and even told DH as soon as I can when I am in the hospital it is his duty to get me Dominos Philly cheesesteak pizza. Has anyone else thought about what they want to eat after they have the baby or is it just me?

Re: Food after delivery
Along with a beer to wash it down with!
I'm guessing it'll be dependent on what I want in the moment.

Mimosas sound good now though.
2. Sushi or now that pizza!
I just hope I can hold down real food sooner than 48hrs afterwards this time around. I was hungry but so nauseated and bloated from surgery last time and it sucked.
Eta: this is the most Afrikaans thing ever! My people will be so proud!
And I will probably want pizza after I deliver this baby as well.

...mostly because I'm figuring the counter person ought to at least get a story out of it, right? And since it'll almost definitely be some little indie place and not a chain, I want them to know their food (whatever it turns out to be) was SO GOOD that I just had to have it as the first thing.
