13 weeks, a jalapeño which is fitting because DH loves jalapenos!
Symptoms: Still nauseous in the evenings. Also angry, so so angry! I'm actually starting to get concerned and I'm wondering if I should mention it to my doctor.
Rant: I'm having a terrible, terrible day at work. I've already had two mini melt downs and I'm headed for my third.
GTKY: Our parents kept asking when they could tell their friends so I broke down and gave them a date of April 1st. That's Friday, yikes! I don't plan to "publicly announce" I'll just gradually tell people as it seems fitting. I'm in no hurry though. And no, I will not be announcing on social media.
(Also, I hate mobile bumping but a stupid work situation is forcing me to do it for the time being)
Current symptoms? Still have an aversion to chicken so that's annoying, and pretty tired in the evenings. But overall, I'm feeling much more normal.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I used the hair-tie trick to button my pants today and it's my new favorite thing.

We did a Facebook announcement last Friday. So I was 12 weeks and a couple days. I'm not crazy about the big public announcements, but my husband wanted one.
Current symptoms? Besides the bloating and constipation I feel great!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Love being able to hear my lil pumpkin's HB on my Doppler.

Current symptoms? Back pain and spasms, headaches, fatigue. Just so glad the nausea is mostly gone, it's just in the mornings a little now.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Yay for dissipating nausea! I still don't understand why there's a universal debate about the start of the 2nd tri. That bothers me haha

We told our parents and siblings as soon as we found out given our infertility struggles. We told the important friends and the rest of the fam at 8 weeks in person. We announced on FB last Thursday at 12+1.
Current symptoms? The nausea has gotten worse over the last several days, and it was pretty bad before. I've been on vacation so it wasn't a big deal when it took me 2 hours to get to a point where I could move around this morning, but I go back to work tomorrow and am a little worried about it.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I had a bonus US this week which was awesome. I'm seriously stressing myself out that something is wrong and I don't know it. I've put off buying a doppler because I know if I can't find the hb it will be that much worse, but I'm planning to get one in a few weeks. I did the panorama blood work yesterday and have my NT scan next Wednesday, so I'm waiting impatiently for all of those results.

My husband spilled the beans to my mom against my wishes this weekend, and she told the rest of the family (10+4). We aren't going public until after I tell work, which I'm planning to do 4/18 (I'll be 13+5). Then we'll likely post on social media. I want to do something fun and am loving everything folks are posting on the FB announcement thread, but I am the opposite of creative and don't want it to end up looking like a pinterest fail.
How many weeks and how big is baby? 12 weeks (12+2 now) and the size of a prune!
Current symptoms? Sore boobs still, tired now and then, today I am exhausted.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My doctor scheduled my NT scan for March 24th because she was going off my LMP which would have made me 12 weeks then... even though I told her I ovulated late. I ended up having a dating scan which pushed my due date back exactly a week, as I suspected. On the 22nd, I had my first appt with my OB at the hospital, and as I'm being called in, another nurse comes at me saying they are looking for me in another department for my ultrasound. I thought oh great, I'm getting an ultrasound today too! We get over there to be rudely told that I am 1/2 hour late for my NT scan. I said nope I have that on the 24th. She said no it was changed to today. Well, it would have been nice if I was informed! They start the ultrasound and of course I'm too early for the scan because I'm a few days shy of the earliest (that I have read at least) that they say you can go for it. The ultrasound tech said my Doctor didn't bother updating them with my new due date. It was rescheduled for next week, which I'm fine with because the baby will be that much bigger but needless to say it was a long frustrating morning!!

We will be announcing on Facebook around 14 weeks. We have already told our family and friends except for my husband's family who live in Florida. We are flying down there next week so we will announce after we tell them in person!
