Provera and no AF

Tomorrow makes my 12th day of Provera and still no AF... I have had absolutely no signs or symptoms of her presence. How long after starting it are you supposed to start?

    I thought you only got a period once you stopped taking provera...

    I have taken provera twice to bring on a period.  The first time it took 7 days after I stopped it to get a period.  The second time it didn't work and I didn't get my period for another 3-4 weeks.  I have heard that some people will get their period while on it but for a lot of people it's a up to 2 weeks after stopping it.     Ok. Thank you.  I must have misunderstood my doctor.  I thought I was supposed to start while taking it.  But I am relieved to know that it will be a couple of days after my last dose.
