What does your morning sickness feel like?

Mine feels like constant hunger pains, and no matter what I do it doesn't get better. When I can eat I get full too quickly, and when I'm 'hungry' nothing sounds good, so eating is a chore. Also, constant gagging.

I cant wait to get out of this stage :(

Same, bro. The only thing that helps is eating, but it's SO HARD to just eat.

  • It's feels like shit. All the time. Constantly feeling shitty.
This.  On the flip side, it's made grocery shopping and staying on the list easier. I want none of the food, not even the stuff I'm making myself buy.

  • I get mine after lunch. I feel nauseous... like car sick and hungover and I gag really easily. Haven't puked yet. Also it doesn't matter if I ate something fine an hour ago, if I try to eat it during that time it is the grossest thing imaginable. Water made me gag the other day.
  • That's the bitch of morning sickness. It's not like when you're drunk and you puke and you instantly feel better. There's nothing morning about it.

It's exactly like @greencows4812 and @GreenEyedUnicorn  said. It's your whole body feeling ill. From the pit of your stomach up to your throat.
  • I agree with the descriptors of like a hangover or like being motion sick.  Also it's a bit like the nausea that comes with a migraine (though without the light sensitivity, pain, and cognitive issues).  Every time I open my mouth, there's some part of me that's worried I'm going to get sick.

  • It's like the stomach flu for me, I've actually even had the runs lately too so it's extra fun.

  • Hell.
I've had very few hangovers but I'd say it's a fair comparison.
  • I've never been drunk so I've never had a hangover. If this is what it feels like... I'm never, ever getting drunk.

  • The hangover comparison is very apt. There have been a few mornings where I've woken up and thought, still half asleep, "wow - I don't even remember drinking too much last night." And then realizing that in fact, I haven't had a drink in weeks.

I also get sleepy really early. Like, I start getting sleepy around 8pm. So anything I do between 8pm and when I go to sleep is done drowsily and I often don't remember it clearly in the morning. Just like a night of heavy drinking!
  • All day hangover or motion sickness. Plus the desire to eat all the food and then when I see it, none of it looks good.

  • Another vote for hangover, except I don't have an awesome night out before. Because I'm asleep by 9pm.

Hell, it feels like hell. I'm naseous/hung over from the second I open my eyes in the morning until the second I close them at night.

  • hung over but 10x worse than any hang over I've ever "earned." I'm starving but want nothing and when im not puking, I kinda wish I was because then I'd feel better. Except I don't. And any strong smells are repulsive.
  • I didn't even think about it feeling like a hangover :D I 100% agree though that's what mine is feeling like today..except I can't throw up.
  • Motion sickness for me. If I let myself go too long w/o food,  it progresses to actual gagging/dry heaving. On the other hand,  if I eat certain foods,  it leads to actual puking. It's a not-so-fun game of "will eating this make me feel better or worse?"

  • I'm definitely on board the hangover train. This weekend our friends were in from out of town and everyone was drinking (except me of course) and somehow I'm the only one waking up with a "hangover".
the biggest difference : greasy food helps a hangover. Greasy food makes MS worse.
  • I am just nauseous all the time. I throw up about 1-2x per day but that does not help. I had HG with both girls, so I am expecting this to get much more worse.

  • LIKE HELL. As the other ladies said, hungover is the only way to describe it. Mine lasted 6-14 wks with DS so I am PRAYING only 6 weeks to go. Stay strong ladies, glad to know I'm not the only one feeling like absolute crap!

  • Like I'm hungover
Exactly like that!! I've never been able to explain it accurately
  • Fwiw, sea bands worked for me in th early stages. After a few weeks they didn't work either. Zofran and I were friends until I was 7 months with peanut #1
  • For me it's achy and motion sickness.  Hungry but the thought of eating makes it worse.  I can't take my prenatals in the morning. Usually by 2-3 it subsides but form the moment I wake up I fee like evening opening my mouth to breath makes me want to gag.
