Looking through the stuff we got for our baby shower, almost everything
is 6 months and up, so I feel like I need to order a few smaller onesies
before baby arrives in early May. Mostly looking for:
-- Soft
-- Durable
-- Inexpensive (money isn't tight, but it seems silly to spend a ton on onesies - willing to be convinced otherwise though)
-- No "cute sayings" if possible
Anybody have brands they prefer? Also, for an early May baby in DC -
am I right in thinking that she won't need much in newborn/3 mo size
besides short sleeved onesies and some swaddler things?
Re: Soft, durable onesies?
I always wanted to like Burt's Bees but they just fit my son weird.
It's hard to say what she will or won't need. I didn't really have much NB stuff for DS, but ended up sending DH and my brother to Target one afternoon to go stock up on some cute outfits because we were running out of clean clothes. We were in 3 month things for a while.
I liked dressing him up every day though. Not everyone does.
Swaddler things are hard too, you want to have some on hand but the baby could HATE being swaddled and want a sleeper or vice versa. I have a few of each on hand now, and plan on picking up more after I figure out what works.
