What's new with baby (size, development): size of a nerd, and the heart is probably beating. WHAT?!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: starting to clean out the second bedroom/office that will become the nursery. Possibly nursery/office.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Still lots of nausea. It's the predominant symptom for me at this point. Runners up are gassiness and sore breasts, but both come and go.
When is your next appointment: First appointment April 15.
GTKY: We got the BFP right at the end of month 6 (it was only cycle 5 though because long cycles), and it was the first cycle I did acupuncture. Which is kinda crazy, and I'm not sure how much credit to give that!
Me: 30 DH: 32 ~~ TTC #1: Sep 2015 ~~ BFP: Mar 2016 ~~ Daughter: Nov 2016 TTC #2: April 2018 ~~ BFP: May 2018 ~~ EDD: January 2019
Week: 5 (I get weirdly excited to see that ticker change!)
What's new with baby (size, development): the size of an apple seed. I agree @MrsDho11 it is kind of shocking that the heart is already beating and organs are all forming. This is insane.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby:not much beyond reading (Expecting Better) and trying to eat well (minus the pizza on Friday...)
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I still have very few symptoms. Reading Expecting Better had me super paranoid about my lack of nausea. She mentions maybe a million times how nausea is a sign of a healthy pregnancy and that is not a good thing for me to be reading right now! I just keep telling myself it is too early and I need to stop worrying.
When is your next appointment: April 28th, so basically an eternity.
GTKY: we tried for 6 months. I don't know if one thing in particular helped, but in January I cleaned up my diet (Whole30, no caffeine, no booze), did acupuncture, yoga, and for this cycle I did some chinese herbs. My husband had a SA in Feb and it showed he had poor morphology, so I assumed we were out and I had a fertility appointment booked for last week to start that process. I just assumed we would have to have some intervention. So, while this is not a popular thing to say on TB, I really relaxed and felt way less pressure on myself since I thought we were out.
@HeyBooHey - I've heard from a lot of people that nausea didn't kick in until 6-8 weeks, so it's still early! Also my mom had three successful pregnancies, and not a single bout of morning sickness in sight. I had hoped that would be hereditary...
Me: 30 DH: 32 ~~ TTC #1: Sep 2015 ~~ BFP: Mar 2016 ~~ Daughter: Nov 2016 TTC #2: April 2018 ~~ BFP: May 2018 ~~ EDD: January 2019
@heyboohey I was freaking out about that too! But my nausea just kicked in and I'm at 8 weeks. Also, like @mrsdho11 said, my mom never had nausea and my good friend didn't have any morning sickness with both her kiddos and my mom has 3 and my friend has 2 and everyone is healthy. Anyway, I know how you're feeling though, when I read that part I had to put the book down for a couple days because I was getting too anxious about the whole thing.
What's new with baby (size, development): tiny ear buds are forming, arm and leg joints are forming. Little less than 1/2 inch, blueberry.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby:moving our toddler into his big boy bed. I am in the middle of weaning right now, it's going brutally at night. Zzzzzz. Looking into a bigger place to live in the summer.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Nausea is worse this week. Waistbands are getting tight. My lifelong insomnia is being cleared right up by exhaustion!
When is your next appointment: Mid April, meeting OB for exam, meet and greet. Already had ultrasound to confirm HB ♥
GTKY: How many months/cycles before you conceived? Anything in particular you feel helped? It took me many years to have our son, including 1 loss. About 9 months of hardcore ovulation testing, fertility exploration, countless tests. They told us our chances of conceiving naturally just weren't there due to DH's sperm. I was taking blood tests to finish up exploring my side of things and was pregnant at the time, didn't catch it, didn't know it. We were going to give up for the Winter season, start doing IUIs in the New Year. Then BOOM. Positive right after Halloween. This time we got it on the first try. Unreal.
@Heyboohey I am 8 weeks tomorrow and have been nauseated only twice. I have almost no symptoms it scary. I keep POAS to make sure there's still 2 lines.

I was also wondering when my POAS habit would end. I am glad I got a 50 pack of wondfos right before my BFP. I may use them all until I have other reminders that it is real!
I had a 50 pack of Wonfos too. I'm 35 and we certainly didn't think we would get pregnant on the first try. I'll probably test till my first ultrasound
Week: 8
What's new with baby (size, development): size of a raspberry
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Husband starts a new job a week from Monday. Technically, he was looking before the BFP, but he wasn't sure he was actually going to switch if he got the offer (more money, but he liked his old job), so the BFP meant that switching was the best thing for us.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: M/S is kicking my butt. I'm not really puking (much), I just feel sick all day, every day.
When is your next appointment:
April 15. We've already had an u/s, so nothing super exciting will happen at this one. GTKY: We weren't trying. We were actually on the pill. Never missed a pill, was never late taking one, but apparently, fate had its own plan for our lives.
What's new with baby (size, development): Size of a BB pellet and possibly with a beating heart, though I won't keep my hopes up for my U/S Tuesday as a lot of people don't see a HB this early.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Told our parents yesterday. Other than that, not much until we see a HB.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Nausea, exhaustion, constipation, and back pain. No questions I can think of.
When is your next appointment: U/S Tuesday at 5+2!
GTKY: (stolen from Saturday's ticker change post and @atcwag)How many months/cycles before you conceived? Anything in particular you feel helped?
16 months/ 17 cycles, though only 13 cycles with confirmed okay timing, before was just NTNP. It took 3 rounds of Femara, plus Ovidrel trigger and progesterone, but it worked!
Him:31♥Me:27

What's new with baby (size, development): Changing rapidly! So crazy!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Sleep haha. Seriously, just enjoying my younger daughter. I feel guilty for having another child so close!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Nausea is just getting worse, I thought I escaped it this time around but it seems week 7-8 is always the beginning for me.
When is your next appointment: Not sure, will find out tomorrow.
GTKY: We conceived on the first try with all of our babies. It is hard to believe but this time around, we said it wouldn't happen on the first try (irregular cycles), and that we would try next year so that our younger ones can be 3 years apart. Well we conceived on the first try again. I do not know but hubby claims it's him LOL.
What's new with baby (size, development): size of a blueberry. Saw/heard HB and it was amazing
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: nothing new this week
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I think I made myself sick from worry before my u/s but other than that no symptoms
When is your next appointment:4/4 for another u/s
GTKY: (stolen from Saturday's ticker change post and @atcwag)How many months/cycles before you conceived? Anything in particular you feel helped? Over a year of TTC with a history of IF. Got a surprise BFP while prepping for IVF.
What's new with baby (size, development): size of a sweet pea!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: probably nothing this week. We're moving in July, so there's no room or anything to even start thinking about.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Still no symptoms, which is almost irritating. Making it hard for this to seem real.
When is your next appointment: Had an ultrasound this morning to get my due date. I'll meet with my doctor next Tuesday
GTKY: Got lucky and got pregnant on the first try this time. A major shock to us.
