Turning Point...dun Dun DUN!!!!

After what seems like ages of pricking, prodding, and praying (you ladies know the feeling), we've finally reached a turning point in our (in)fertility journey. The tests are all in, but not much sticks to the wall other than I have a very low AMH level of .40, a short luteal phase (9-11 days), low (but ovulatory) progesterone of 7.7, and low (but "normal") number of follicles (2 + 5 antral follicles). They're calling my case "unexplained infertility." Luckily, HSG was normal, and FSH at 7.8 and estradiol at 39 seem good. Since we were traveling, we took a "gap month" before starting our treatment. We did everything we could, including using the Stork OTC twice (like a cervical cap...pretty nifty, but pricey. Feel free to ask me about it.) and continuing CoQ10, DHEA, and Vitex. Period came today, which was disheartening, but not surprising. I have to go in either tomorrow or Tuesday for my ultrasound and plan to start Clomid on Tuesday. Hopefully we'll be ready to go for the IUI on April 12th... We shall see. Fingers crossed! Please feel free to share your experiences with IUI + Clomid + HCG or with similar labs.     CC, sorry I don't have any experience to share with you, but I can empathize with the feelings... It's hard to be in the "unexplained" category. Though I have some answers now, I still find myself in that category. I am a very  controlling person, so it's hard to not know. At least if I knew I could do my own research over that disease/disorder/syndrome/problem. But I also know that every bit of movement forward is like peaking over a mountain. An IUI is a huge step forward, even if you don't have a "why." Big prayers for your upcoming procedure. 

    Can you tell me more about the Stork OTC?

    Diagnoses: RPL, Endometriosis, MFI (count, morph, DNI, DNAS, multiple bilateral subclinical varicoceles), low progesterone

     March 2017: Clomid + HCG + IUI + Progesterone = SA/wash: zero count on attempt #1, <1,000 on attempt #2= BFN
     Varicocele Embolization- 5 May 17
    December 2017 SA: Zero improvement after embolization
    January IVF- 25 retrieved, 11 mature, 8 fertilized, 3 frozen day fives (3AA, 3AA, 3AA), 1 frozen day 6 (5BB), 1 frozen day 7 (3CC)
    Three PGS normal (3AA, 3AA, 5BB), one inconclusive (3AA)
    FET #1: 27 February 2018, 3AA & 5BB, one stuck! BFP 04 March 2018.... Loss confirmed 23 March 2018
    May 2018: SHG/SIS = all clear "beautiful uterus"
    FET #2: 04 June 2018, 3AA PGS normal embryo, 3AA PGS hatching inconclusive embryo. 
    BFP: 12 June 2018, EDD 20 February 2019
    Ultrasound, 25 June 2018: There are two! 
    Lost Baby A 02 July 2018
    Baby B not growing, D&C 06 July 2018
    Laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, chromotubation: 23 July 2018: blocked right tube, heavily inflamed, covered in endo. Removed right tube. Removed more endo from uterus, tubes, ovaries. Endo remains on bladder and bowel. 
    Next Up:
    TTC Naturally, possibly IUIs for remainder of 2018.

    Prayers for you! I have had 2 IUIs, and they were not painful for me. I used the ovidrel trigger before each. If you have any specific questions, I would be glad to answer them.

    Clomid round #4 of 150 mg followed by
    First Ovidrel trigger shot February 10, 2016
    First IUI February 12, 2016 Negative
    Started Letrozole 5mg round #1 February 23
    Began additional Letrozole 5mg + Dexamethasone 1 mg March 8
    Ovidrel trigger shot March 16
    IUI #2 March 18 with progesterone suppositories beginning March 19
    Positive HPT April 2 Praise God!!! :)
    Estimated Due Date: December 8
