How has it taken so long for this thread to be started??

I cannot even today. I'm pretty sure everyone is ganging up on me today and have decided not to think. Like at all. Do your job. I honestly can't tell you what your company's internal process is... I don't work for your company...
Also, my MIL is in town and that in general gets my hackles up. Wooosahh.

They are in the process of changing all of the lights in our hallway (possibly the whole building?), including our offices to blindingly bright LEDs. I'm already ghostly pale (as are most of my coworkers in this hallway) and now we all look ill/deathly. Not to mention that you need sunglasses just to keep your eyes from seeing spots. Not sure who made this decision, but it sucks.

(Obviously this is a huge FWP. Grateful to have a job, yadda yadda.)

I get so upset that my SIL won't split a holiday with our side of the family. Therefore I never see my brother at family gathering unless he "stops by" to say hi. She insists on hosting everything but my father is in a wheel chair and can't get into their house. Ahhh!

I really have have to let this go before I allow it to get between me and my brother. We are very close. I guess I am lucky they live close to my parents that he can make an appearance.

Today is dragging. I'm completely exhausted because DH snored all night. I would have gone to our guest room to sleep, but my parents are in town and the other room is currently storing all the contents of our master bathroom. On that note, our master bath renovation is moving at a snail's pace. We have waited to remodel, thought we had contractors that weren't full of BS finally, and now the timeline is shot. I typically would be more relaxed about it, but I'm up about 19 times to pee in the middle of the night. Not cool.

My husband is a very loving kind, generous soul who can't turn away an animal in need. The current stray who is "just visiting" (this is the third since we moved into our house) is scratching at the door, meowing, and generally being a pain in my ass ALL NIGHT.

I finally told him this morning "I love you... BUT that cat has GOT to go." He agreed, and is working on finding the "right" shelter to bring it to. Come hell or high water, that cat is gone tomorrow! I hate having to be the mean one but I am cranky and pregnant and I want to sleep in my own house, with my own cats, and not be woken up by a PITA stray with no friggin manners.

@katienu My brother does this too. He hasn't been home for a holiday in over a year, and his girlfriend just insists they always go to her parents because she's "An only child!" It's obnoxious.

We go to my parents more, because they are not across the country and airplane tickets are over a thousand dollars, but we DO go to his families holidays, at least one a year. (except this year. Because baby.)

I had a dream last night that LO was born early and had to stay in the hospital and the day I took LO home, I had to stop at work and left my premie in the car..in August? WTF. When I actually got out of bed I was moving my dishwasher and my fruit basket fell off. I then dropped an egg on the floor while making breakfast. Work actually went pretty smoothly (GASP). I then left and left my pone at work and had to go back. Can today be over please.

Had my first super uncomfortable spell with my body. Ate Easter lunch yesterday and almost immediately after eating my sides began aching and hurting so bad. I felt like I was literally stretching

At our anatomy scan today we told the US tech we did not want to know the sex of baby so she was going to write it on a piece of paper and we would go home and open it together. We wanted to get a cupcake and have the color filling for the gender since it is our first! After we are done with the US we went in to see the doc and she blurts out the sex. I was so shocked and upset that she didn't know to not say anything when we told the tech we didn't want to know! I am so happy that we are having a boy!! but not as happy the way we found out. Wish we could have done it alone to see our reactions when we cut the cupcake! I would've rather found out in the US what the baby was than the way she blured it out. Healthy baby though and that's all we want!

My heartburn is out of control today. I'm sure it's because of all the sugar yesterday, but it is so painful. Also, my house is a mess and I can't seem to find the energy to clean it.

Just found out the compressor in the A/C at the house we just bought is broken. We're renovating the house and already putting in a ton of money and with baby on the way, I don't want to throw in a few thousand more dollars!

I despise my husband's brother and his wife. My in-laws are paying for clothes for a wedding for his son and her son and then the BIL had the nerve to ask them to pay for his too despite backing out of being in the wedding. That's one thing, but then they got her son a 14 foot trampoline for part of his birthday presents and gave him an ipad mini in his EASTER BASKET. Ugh.

I can smell cigarette smoke through the air vent in my bathroom.. Ugh!!! So aggravating! I yelled through the vent to go outside to smoke and it stopped for a while but, it's back again!

Maybe tape plastic over the vent like you would for a shelter in place emergency (duct tape and heavy plastic sheeting)?

Ugh that happened to me when I lived in an upper lower duplex. They claimed they went outside to smoke but I could still smell it! I only stayed there a year and then I moved. It was super annoying for a non smoker.

My bitch is rolling over from last night. I was gone all day yesterday and then just went to bed last night without cleaning up. Now this morning I'm forced to clean up the trashed house. Why do I procrastinate so much?!
