Easter Announcement

Anyone else do their announcement today? I hid puzzle pieces in the eggs for the Easter egg hunt we have with the family. Older kids collected the pieces and put the puzzle together. Here is a picture of my kids (who we told this morning) in their new shirts holding the puzzle. Surprisingly my sister said she knew, she has 7 kids and since I talk to her daily she just kinda guessed it LoL

We told DH's family today. They were talking about unicorns and it reminded us of my future Halloween costume so DH told them. It wasn't very exciting. My loss was a month and a half ago so I think they were being cautious. Plus they're kind of awkward people.

When we sat down for dinner I handed out Easter cards addressed to 'Grandma and Grandpa', 'Aunt', etc. Well everyone put them down unopened and continued to eat until I mentioned to my husband my card was going to be better than the one my MIL got us.. she was now curious to see and started to open hers, then everyone else too and it was great to see them at the same time read and realize the inside said Baby coming in November matched up with their new names on the outside of the cards

I have 47 days till we are annoucing LOL UGH the time is ticking! We are going to do it at my daughters 2 year old bday party. Half way through change her shirt the front says I have a secret and the back says I am going to be a big sister

Here is what we did. We sent this pic out to our friends..... And the our son wore a shirt that said Big Brother on it. He also wore a zip up hoody too, so he could unzip it and show it to people when they came. He was VERY proud to be able to announce to family! It was fun!

We did and it was super fun. There were 8 kids ages 6 and under at my house for our family Easter egg hunt. All the kids were standing together for a photo and the adults were all there with cameras out. My husband had our camera set to video, so he could get the whole thing.

I said "OK kids, say Happy Easter!" They did. Then I said, "Say [my name] is pregnant!"

My sisters started screaming immediately and it took my mom a second to realize what was happening. I LOVE that we have it all on video, to show this baby when s/he is older
