New to IF - Previous Bump Mama

Hi Everyone,

I am the Mommy to a sweet Boy who just turned 4 in February.   He is just a joy and is very much in need of a sibling.  We get lots of tears that he has no one to play with.  I feel horrible I took so long and didn't see a Dr. sooner. 

My DH and I have been TTC since November 2014.  We were just trying things the old fashion way and nothing was happening.  I finally went to my OB and found that my progesterone levels were too low (I'm an old broad!).  I am currently on round two of Clomid and hoping this will be it.  Round 1 of Clomid was a bust due to the fact we caught the flu the week I ovulated. 

I just did an OPK and it was positive.  So fingers crossed this will be our last round of Clomid.

    Oh dear, I also have a son that is frustrated that he has nobody to play with so I completely understand! My guy will be turning 5 in about a month. In our case, we just were honest with him and told him we are trying but that mommy has some problems making babies. He understands and it helps that he gives me lots of hugs if I seem sad or in pain (I have endo). I hope this will be it for you!
    Marriage is not just spiritual communion, it is also remembering to take out the trash.

    11/2013- Diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis
    07/2014- emergency surgery to remove hemorrhaging cyst first RE missed, removed endo from fallopian tubes, hsg done, d&c performed to remove polyphs in uterus, femvue done, put on dexamethasone and metformin
    08/2014- miscarriage, second RE refuses to mark down in charts, switch again
    03/2016- IUI #1, waiting for results on April 17

    I'm in the same boat ladies! My 5 yr old son keeps asking when he will have a sibling as well. Then he says he wants two, and my response is "oh dear!". I reassure him that when I find out I'm having a baby, he will be one of the first people to know. In the meantime, my Mom got him a baby doll that he takes care of and sleeps with.

    10/2009 - TTC#1 Stopped BCP! Let's DO this!
    1/2010 - BFP (Natural) --> 10/2010 - DS born! Yay!
    12/2010 - DH diagnosed with stage 3B testicular cancer. #cancersucks
    10/2011 - Complications with DH and lymph nodes in groin area removed. No longer able to ejaculate.
    1/2014 - TTC#2 - IUI#1. No luck. Findings: DH sperm did not survive freeze. RE recommends IVF with ICSI.
    3/2014 - IVF Cycle #1 Started BCP
    4/2014 - Lupron, Gonal-F, and Menopur
    5/7/2014 - ER day (25 eggs retrieved, 15 mature)
    5/10/2014 - 6 fertilized, 3 embryos frozen - one grade A and two Grade B. Plan was to grow out to blastocyst stage but rest of eggs arrested by day 3. Decided to freeze on day 3.
    2/9/2016 - FET #1 with Grade A (8 cell - 3 day embryo); 2/20 - Beta was <5. BFN.  :/ Waiting for period and start next FET.
    7/8/2016 - FET #2 with Grade B (8 cell - 3 day embryo), fingers crossed this one sticks. :)
    7/19 - Beta was 74. BFP!!!!; 7/21 - Beta was 182; 1st U/S on 8/2; 2nd U/S on 8/16 :)

    Thank you ladies.  I'm 4DPO and had some spotting.   But I'm worried I'm just imaging things.  I hope this is it!!

    I was an only child until I turned 6 and became a big sister.   I always felt like my brother was my baby.  We have had some babies in our family and my son tells me all the time he just wants one for our house.  

    Fingers crossed for us all!!
