Rant - I have a bad knee from a high school volleyball injury and it's really starting to bother me. I'm assuming the excess weight around my belly is contributing to it. I also have to see my inlaws today. Pray for me.
Rave - I finally balled up and told my mom I wasn't going to church today because I don't really ever go and think it's dumb to go once a year. So H and I are going to enjoy breakfast and take the dog to the dog park before we head out to visit family. And I just realize it's our last big holiday before we become parents which is pretty insane.
Upcoming appointments/updates? I had one last week. Found out I'm "slightly" anemic so I have to take an iron supplement. Nbd. My next one is in about 3 weeks and then I'll go every other week after that.

Possibly. We're psychotic. Maternity leave will eat up our PTO until January so we are considering a (split over 2 days) 12 hour road trip to Idaho about a month after baby is here for a week or so, so H's sisters can meet him - one of which can't travel to us because she has breast cancer.
We probably won't decide for sure until he's finally here because it'll depend on a lot of things, obviously. How LO does in the car, how I feel and when he's born. My older siblings are coming down 4th of July to meet him so if he's born early June I don't want to take off when they're here, but I also want a whole week to rest after the trip before I go back to work. I hope it can happen but we'll see.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Doctor insisted on high-iron prenatal vitamins and for me to go back on Zoloft for anxiety/depression (was on it pre-pregnancy for post partum anxiety and came off 7 months ago). Both of those individually make me kinda barfy and the combo has been rough. I'm soooo hungry all the time but every time there's real food in front of me instead of like, chips and chocolate, I feel grossed out. Blergh!

We were planning a trip to the west coast (Vancouver, etc, and probably the islands) around DH's cousin's wedding, but we just got the invite and kids under 12 aren't invited. So not sure how that would work with a 2-year-old and a 2-month-old in a strange city where we don't know anyone who won't be at the wedding? So I don't know...we'll probably still go for the road trip and to visit family, but I'm bummed.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Rants - I feel lazy, fatigued, and unmotivated. Its no bueno. Raves - I'm making easter brunch for just me and my husband, and I'm excited to eat too much food without anyone else around to judge me. Symptoms - ate too much yesterday (I made cookies) so I feel super bloated and gross today. Otherwise, just the normal

My husband wants to move us to a new state, so he wants to take a late summer road trip around wyoming, idaho, and montana to look at towns/houses. I'm picturing doing this with a baby that's still breast-feeding and pooping with alarming frequency and it is giving me heart palpitations. Hopefully I have a well-behaved baby? I'm not holding my breath.
Does your H want to move because of work or is it a just to move kind of thing?
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Rants: going to try to drive all over the area today, should be fun. Raves: I'm looking forward to my "free meal" today... And my sister's birthday cake!!!! Symptoms: pelvic pain as usual

Doubtful, as we have 2 weddings in September to go to, and DHs family is coming out here in late June to visit and meet the baby. We are considering taking a day trip up to one of the beach cities in Los Angeles area though.

So I didn't have morning sickness. This morning I made my usual breakfast smoothie and an hour later I was running to the bathroom to throw up. I'm praying it was a random fluke.

No, DH had to take his vacation days for when baby arrives and he'll want to save some for Christmas time, too. If anything, it would have to be a weekend getaway somewhere close.
30 weeks
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
Feeling big and round. Hard to chase after my two little ones! Also having trouble gaining weight and eating very much. I fill up really fast and have no appetite.

Going biweekly now! Nothing going on. I'm worried about my lack of weight gain but my doctor doesn't seem concerned since I am measuring appropriately.

anyone taking a PPI for GERD? I've been taking Pepcid AND Tums all the time and I'm wondering if they would let me take a stronger medication.

My husband wants to plan a quick trip to the beach at the end of April! He is crazy. But I totally want to go! We might go somewhere close for a long weekend in August between the summer and fall sessions at preschool.
Rants/ Raves/ symptoms: I think the PUPPPS rash I had with my twins is coming back. This makes me sad, I had it off and on until 23 months pp then I found out I was pregnant again : (

No, my parents want to go to Disney World in Sept. with my nieces and want me to go, too, but I see it as pointless and just a hassle to take a newborn to Disney World. May go to my parent's house at the lake once or twice, but no big vacations.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Rant: Rib pain after eating way too much for Easter, blah. It's Monday, boo. Rave: My key lime pie turned out good and I rediscovered how tasty jelly beans can be...but is that really a good thing? Symptoms: Back/rib pain, BH, hip pain at night.
Upcoming appointments/updates? Baby's kidneys are good according to my OB! Glucose test seemed to go okay but not sure when I'll find out the results. Next OB appt. is a week from Thurs. TDAP at that appt.

My family (including aunts/uncles/cousins/etc) have planned a family reunion in Missouri (halfway across the country from us) for mid July. I would love to go, but honestly don't think that is realistic with a one month old, driving or flying. We have no idea how he's going to be at that point. Probably not much traveling until he's around 6 months. :shrug: oh well.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms? RANT - I've had tons of pressure, back pain and BH lately. I didn't feel this uncomfortable this early on with DS but my OB says all of this stuff happens much sooner the more you have.
RAVE- I quit my job and am staying home full time as of a week ago. I've been taking advantage of this time and have stayed busy organizing and getting everything ready. It's so much less work the 2nd time around! All I have left to do is pack the diaper bag basically. Now I can spend our last few weeks just hanging with DS

Not that I can think of. We will probably have lots of family / friends come visit throughout the summer months though.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Rant- H and I both had a 24 hour bug that started around 1:00am Easter morning. Although unpleasant, it did keep us from having to pack up and go anywhere yesterday so that was nice but I did miss spending the day with my family. Rave- Apparently my body can't handle two massive systemic catastrophes at once so although I spent the whole day on the toilet yesterday (I know, TMI but I feel like we have all moved past that), I didn't have any hives. Hive free for the first time in about 2 months so that was pretty exciting!
Upcoming appointments/updates? Appointment tomorrow morning which starts my every other week schedule and blood draw for progesterone Wednesday.

Probably not, most of our disposable income is going to getting ready for baby and events/items for my best friends wedding. We are in Texas and about an hour from a pretty gross beach so we will probably take LO to dip her toes in the water once I can swim again but that is just a day trip.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Rant: I'm so tired of people focusing on how big I am!!! I know a lot of us have encountered this. I walked into DHs family Easter yesterday and FILs mom said hey tub tub! Who says that??? Also FIL asked me if I was sure there was only one in there. I try to let things just roll of my back but it isn't easy. Raves: at least the weather was nice yesterday. Symptoms: sciatic nerve pain has came back.
Upcoming appointments/updates? Had my ultrasound and baby was fine. They thought I was measuring 4 weeks ahead, but she must have laying weird. All measurement came back on track. Next appt. is next Monday.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Rant is that I've caught DH's cold and am generally feeling crappy today at the office on this rainy Monday morning. Hosted 19 people yesterday for Easter so I attribute some of of the run down feeling to that. Rave - passed my 1 hr glucose so I'm relieved and happy they don't have to draw any more blood. I hate that part of pregnancy Dr. visits.
Upcoming appointments/updates? Regular check-up on Friday and will go every other week from then until 36 when I start weekly. Getting close!

It's my toddler I'm more worried about traveling far with, not the baby!
