This is baby number 5, I'm not sick as of yet but it's been along time between pregnancy 11 years... I'm hoping not to be too sick but what has worked well for others that I can keep in mind to manage it.
I almost threw up for the first time today, it was looking at the washing up in the sink and at the leftover food stuck to it! I'm so happy, this means no washing up for me until I'm.ready yayaya! Haha
first time around I never threw up, not once! I did, on the other hand, feel terribly hung over all day. It was bad. I'm curious to see how it will be this time around.

That's exactly how I feel now. Hungover every day, but without the fun night before to justify it!
First vomit this morning.... Here we go again! I was hopeful my MS wouldn't kick back in this PG. I had a loss at 12+4 last year and should be grateful that it's a little milder this time around so far!
My first pregnancy I didn't have an morning sickness this one I have been nauseous on different occasions. Goldfish our my go to LOL I know it sounds funny.... we keep them in stock bc my daughter LOVES goldfish. I hope it goes away.
I've been sick as a dog. This is my first pregnancy and I can tell this kid is doing to me what I did to my mom. My life now consists of avoiding meat, eating saltines, and sipping ginger tea. That's in between eating my new craving....salads. Seems the only thing that doesn't make me sick lately is a plain salad.
The only thing I've been able to eat this week is apples and peanut butter. Anything else makes me so queasy. I suck on jolly ranchers too. Morning sickness is the pits, man.
I can only eat bagels right now, I can't even open the fridge without gagging. Making meals for my toddler has been torture. Same thing happened to me last pregnancy too...I was MISERABLE until 14 weeks.
I've tried so many things, but I still get sick in the morning. I can't complain too much, as it's a one-and-done kind of thing, but it's every morning.
Lemon water, ginger tea, saltines, preggo pops... none of them seem to work. Gingerale gives me bloat, which makes things worse.
It's been 10 years since my last baby as well! So it's like learning to do it all over again. I hope to try unisom and vitamin b6, but last night browsing Amazon I saw this brand Pink Stork, their products look interesting.
All day long nausea, and agree with some of the above...opening a fridge is a nightmare. Fruits and goldfish is all I eat right now. Chips (fries) and vinegar too. It helps to eat something before getting out of bed, and try to eat all day long.
I have a bag of dry Cheerios by my bed, and I have a handful before getting up. This at least allows me to get ready in the morning without gagging too much (although brushing my teeth is a nightmare).
@UTAmbs11 if you're only having it first thing in the morning, it could be hunger-related. Have you tried eating a few crackers or something if you get up in the middle of the night to pee?

I tried keeping saltines next to the bed. I would eat at 2 am (night pee) and when I wake up first thing. I also tried eating breakfast a couple mornings, but that came up about 30 min later.
I do have trouble eating dinner most days, so I'm trying to do better about that. I have my first appt on thursday, so I'll ask doctor. I keep reading about magnesium being the issue? Also high hcg levels (which mine were off the charts when I had them taken at 5&6 wks).
Last pregnancy I only had some food aversions but never any MS. This morning at 6 weeks 1 day I felt nauseous the entire 3 hour ride home from the beach and it got worse when DH stopped for a burger from Cookout. The smell alone made me gag.
I've had very minimal nausea. A wave of it here and there but nothing consistent.
Same here. Almost makes me worried, but I know I should be glad.
I feel like we should have Lack of Symptoms weekly update so we can feel less anxiety...
Yes! I google more lack of symptoms then anything. My only issue has been my hands and feet falling asleep on me in the middle of the night. Mostly when I am at the firehouse and I know I am dehydrated.
I at least had sore boobs from hell to keep me sane... but those went away this morning. This happened for a day last week too and I just about lost my mind. If I hadn't seen the little nugget's heartbeat on Thursday in the ER, I would swear I wasn't knocked up.
I've had nausea just about all day every day for 3 weeks (8w today). I've only thrown up about 3 times, though. I eat an apple before I get ready every morning, and then I eat every 2 hours throughout the rest of the day. Sometimes I have to force myself to eat, sometimes I'm starving.
PGAL brain: my biggest fear is losing this baby (of course) but partially because I keep imagining this circle of hell of going through the first trimester over and over with no baby at the end. Sorry that's depressing... I need the PGAL check in today.

Can I ask about the B6 + unisom thing? I was under the impression that the B6 helped with nausea, so what's with the unisom? Also, my husband is convinced that bad things will happen if I take B6 (less than 100mg combined with my prenatal). How to I get him to stfu?
I've been using Seabands to control my nausea since week 6. It hasn't gone away completely but I haven't gotten sick since wearing them. I'm suprised they are working so well!
Pregnant with my second! First time around I had no morning sickness but this time it's on with a vengeance! I don't know if it's payback for the first pregnancy being a breeze or what! I have food aversion to everything but rice cakes and saltines! Everything makes me gag! Nausea all day... This is awful! I feel for anyone who has this EVERY pregnancy!
Lets just remember it's all worth it! Hang in there mamas!!!!!
anyone been given anti nausea prescription? My doctor just sent one in for me but I'm scared to take it!
I am having hints of nausea today. Nothing that is so bad that I can't eat, but enough to make me suck on my ginger candies! They are helping for now, but I am dreading the times when it will be worse!
I struggled washing the dishes once last week, so I made my DH finish up for me!

Any other tips or suggestions?
