Chamomile tea

At LO's one month visit, the pediatrician recommended one ounce of chamomile tea each day to help combat his gas issues. He will take it but fights it. Wondering if it is ok to mix the tea with breast milk (he takes one BF bottle each day, otherwise he's a boob man). 

Would love any insight! TIA!

    I've never heard of that. I thought babies were supposed to strictly have breast milk/ formula for the first 6 months. Everything I've read said no cow's milk/ goat's milk and NO water. 

    I don't think I would mix it with breast milk though. You wouldn't want to dilute the breast milk especially if LO didn't take the whole bottle.

    Omg that sounds like a really bad idea. They have gripe Water and symethicone for that and even then I wouldn't give it to a baby that young. Certainly not an ounce of that stuff! I'm no doctor but i would ask a lactation consultant(ibclc) before I trust a pediatrician with that advice.
