One "Symptoms" thread, or one thread per symptom?

Do we want to keep all symptom questions under the one thread, or allow different threads for different symptoms as they come up? (morning sickness, round ligament pain, etc.)

Re: One "Symptoms" thread, or one thread per symptom?

  • Ive been on mobile the last few days and I suck at joining in on my phone! But I read through the conversation about this.. and Im probably just repeating what was already said, if thats the case Im sorry!! I think we have too many daily discussions. One a day is fine but not three. I agree with what someone said that it becomes too much that my lazy self skips the 60 new posts. And when I finally read them all and want to comment or talk with someone I feel weird if that persons comment is buried. One symptoms thread for the entire time is way too much to keep up with- but one for each symptom is kinda crazy to me.. would a weekly symptom check in work instead of one crazy long thread? Sorry if im rambling I'm mobile posting and trying to stay in conversation with my family at the same time!

We are doing a weekly symptom check-in currently. I start it new every Monday.

  • I thought so! Maybe this is why I was confused because I posted in it this week! My bad.. Id blame pregnancy brain but its just me and my lacking of dedication the last week!
  • One thing to think about - it is probably easier to find helpful info in specific threads about particular symptoms, rather than in one giant run-on compilation thread.
  • I feel like if there was one for each symptom it will get lost easier. Plus a lot of us have several symptoms at the same time. I think one a week is good.
  • I genuinely don't care.

  • From the looks of this I am guessing we will end up doing both. The weekly one and when someone wants to post about a specific topic as well.

Maybe we can link to the primary thread for each individual symptom in the organization thread to make them easier for people to find?

  • There are so many symptoms! It'd be a lot to have a thread for each. Weekly works for me.
