Low progesterone

Found out today that my progesterone is only 10.8. They started me on a daily progesterone pill. 

I should be 8 weeks 1 day. I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks 3 days and baby was only measuring 6 weeks. 

I'm really worried that the pregnancy isn't viable. Should I be?

    They wouldn't have put you on progesterone if they thought it didn't have a chance.
    Its also not uncommon for the ultrasound measurements to not = due date per lmp.

    Progesterone will help if it's a viable pregnancy. It will not prevent a miscarriage. I was put on 200mg progesterone suppositories throughout all first tri. Your dates might also be off unless you were temping to know your exact ovulation date. Try not to stress and communicate with your doc. Congrats on your pregnancy and best of luck!

    All hail the progesterone... Mine was low too... Was on suppositories my entire first trimester. I'm 24 weeks now. You're doing good mama :)

    It doesn't hurt to ask for a progesterone test. I have low progesterone and was put on suppositories right after ovulation.

    March/April IUI scheduled -  surprise BFP w/ help of Progesterone - 3/18/2016
    Beta #1 @ 11dpo - 45.7 #2 @ 14dpo - 163 #3 @ 18dpo - 997 #4 @ 21dpo - 3799 :D
    EDD 12/1 based on O, 11/28 per Ob/Gyn (but he's wrong lol).

    What did your doctor say about the baby measuring small? Are you positive of your ovulation date?
    DX PCOS Jan 2012
    IUI #1 Feb 2012= DS1 born 11/2012

    I am pretty positive when we conceived as we had just moved and we were incredibly busy and only had sex once. She said everything looked normal for 6 weeks.

    I wasn't going by lmp as I know when we conceived. I have PCOS so my cycles are longer than most.

    They are going to check again on Monday when I have another sonogram to check the baby's growth.
