Will anyone else be in the 3 under 3 club?
If so -how are you feeling about it? What are you going to do for bed/ crib setups? Car seats? Was this planned? (I'm not really sure who would plan 3 under 3? Haha)
I was was super scared at first but I'm starting to feel excited. My worst fears are happening. I was worried I wouldn't have enough energy to play with my 2 boys and yes that is totally happening! I'm really hoping I get some energy back with the second tri starting next week.
I still don't know for sure what we will do for room and bed situations. The boys are each in their own room across the hall from us which is awesome. They are both currently sleeping through the night which I'm praying stays the case!! My newborns never seem to like the bassinet and have ended up sleeping in their cribs by week 2 of life.
We were shocked to find out I was pregnant as I was still breastfeeding and never even got my period back. I was thinking I was just about to finally get my period and wham BFP!

Re: Will anyone else have 3 under 3?
As far as rooms, Deklyn and Cameron have their own upstairs. Our guest/office downstairs will most likely be our nursery until the girls are old enough to share a room. Both girls semi sleep through the night so right now isn't a good time to put them together.
i feel you with the energy levels. I am so exhausted and as of two weeks ago Deklyn stopped napping. It's a new normal , cause you know nap time is mama time!
Overall I'm feeling pretty excited and a little overwhelmed at times. I sometimes ask myself if I am crazy for wanting three so close together especially with absolutely no family around for support and a husband who travels ALL the time. The answer is probably yes lol but I know I can give these girls a good life so I will do the best I can.
Car seats.... Definitely need a new car. I have a jeep now and don't have any room for a third car seat. We are looking to buy before summer. I'm thinking of having my oldest in the back and my two youngest in the front? I haven't really thought about that too much! I guess it depends on the type of suv I get.
We can DO THIS!
DD #1 3/26/13
Mo/Mo twins MMC 3/31/14
DD #2 3/31/15
DD #3 8/25/16
I have an explorer but with 3 rear facing I think we are going to have to join the mini van club. I just don't see a way around it!
We we will be selling our current home buying and moving before these ones arrive. We are shooting for 4 bedrooms, but the twins will likely share one nursery for as long as they can handle it. My son isn't ready to have a toddler bed so we need two new cribs also. I'm pretty overwhelmed with everything right now!
To answer your questions. We upgraded to a minivan while I was pregnant with #3. You can food three carseats across the back of a sedan, but I didn't want the trouble. I love my minivan though.
I have three bedrooms, but DD and DS1 shared. When DS2 moved out of our room, DD got her own room. Both boys sleep through each other's antics 95% of the time. It's amazing really. LO4 will be going into DD's room. If we have a boy, he'll move in with the brothers when DS2 is big enough for a real bed and we get bunks.
For cribs, we have two only because a friend gave us a second. Our kids transitioned to toddler beds fairly early because they are climbers and I didn't want them to get hurt climbing out of the crib.
Life can be crazy with 3+ little ones, but honestly we are in such baby and toddler mode right now that extra kids don't change much.
Currently we have our 3 sleeping in the same room. The 2 older have bunkbeds and the youngest still sleeps in the crib. We'll be moving to a different house before baby is born and I think we'll do the 2 older ones in a bedroom together and the younger one in the room we'll use as the nursery. At least for a few months. She'll stay in the crib. I'm going to get a bassinet or something for the baby to sleep in, he/she will be in our bedroom for the first 6 months or so.
My first two are 14 months apart and youngest is 18 months behind. So this year they'll be 15, 16, and 17 years old!!!
like @LeahKnits I had all three of mine in one room. We had a crib, a toddler bed, and a twin that had a bunk we could add on when the baby grew out of his crib. The girls started sharing the bunk when the oldest was 5.
We had to buy a minivan because the car seats were too bulky. I don't think they made skinny ones back then. we just went for the minivan. It was the first year Kia released their Sedona LOL and it was actually a good deal.

@seitzy3 I'm so impressed you were going for this close. We wanted the first 2 really close but not so much the third too. But of course it will be so much fun.
@bookworm982 that's pretty much how I'm picturing life. Just totally embracing the babies / toddlers.
@mamadomino twins thrown in the mix is going to be crazy! But we have to think this will be awesome in the long term. The kids are going to have such a fun child hood. We are the minority.
Im not going to be doing any errands by myself for a long time when baby comes! Does anyone do errands by themselves as it is? If I do it's rare and I usually regret it. My oldest is a bit of a terror.

I avoid trips with more than 2 stops because i don't want to load and unload carseats that many times.
Once #4 comes, we'll see how errands go...
