Teething question...

How long did your baby teeth for before an actual tooth came in?

My boys have been going crazy biting on their fingers, teething toys, their clothes. They rub their gums on anything they can but i still do not see teeth coming through. They're not being fussy, but every waking moment they have to have their fingers in their mouths.

I tell ya, every baby is different. DD would only get fussy when the tooth was poking through. My boys have been having a war with their gums for about a month now.

    DD started showing signs of teething at about 8 weeks... Got her first tooth at 24 weeks. It took FOREVER!

    @hmburchellUgh! That sucks! Good thing they aren't being fussy but just seeing how they go crazy rubbing their gums makes me feel bad.!

    I can't even say a timeline but it was forever. We have the 2 bottom teeth and he was drooling and biting everything like a manic for months. Then one day they were just magically there and we're still drooling and biting so I feel this won't end lol

    Teething can start something like 2 - 3 months before the tooth erupts, I believe.

    @chelseajeanene ugh lol. Poor you! Poor him!
    @TeacherMom210 good thing is they're not being fussy but they attack their gums like crazy. Thank you ladies

    In our 4 month pictures they all have his hand in his mouth! He got his bottom two at 6 months and 10 days. Its crazy he got fevers, diarrhea, stuffy nose and cough all from teeth! I am convinced were working on the top two now and I was like cant I get a break for a little while!

    @Yiggle09 awh man! He went through hell!
     Like i mentioned before when DD was a baby she was only fussy when her teeth were actually poking through like 2-3 days.. i didnt have trouble with her. & the boys dont fuss either but they bite so hard on their teethers & the little links that you put on toys and hang on the carseat & they like it!
