What are everyone's Easter plans ?

    Family brunches both sat and sun. I didn't do a basket for her as she will likely get spoiled by the grandparents and my sister. Plus I bought her a tone of stuff this month. New toys, clothes etc.

    Saturday is my nephews wrestling tournament and my youngest nephews first birthday party! That night we are doing an adult easter egg hunt. My mom is hosting Easter Brunch on Sunday so we can get back home to have dinner with the in laws. I'm not doing anything special for DD. She has enough junk in her room. I'm sure my parents will make her a basket though.

    Easter brunch at my parents followed by an egg hunt. And then off to the IL's for Easter dinner.

    Easter with the in laws on Saturday with a giant Easter egg hunt with all my nieces and nephews.  Easter dinner on Sunday with my parents.  I might get DD an Easter book

    Listen to these unnerving plans.....idk if you remember but my mil & her wife split over Christmas bc her wife had been having an affair. Well, they've still been living together in separate rooms & are hosting Easter. With my dh 93-yr-old grandma who doesn't know they're "separated". So we are all supposed to pretend like everything is hunky dory. My sil is refusing to attend as is my sd. So just me, hubs & bio kids plus Grammy. Should be fun  :|

    Easter brunch at our house.  Then around 1pm, I will bring baby down to my Grandfather's house to see some of his cousins and visit with some family.  At 4pm, DH and I go to his Grandfather's house and we'll eat dinner there.
    I also managed to take some fun photos of DS today, in case tomorrow's festivities have us tied up and I can't get around to taking pictures of him in his outfit and our little props.  :p

    DH and I aren't particularly religious, but his family is visiting from far away so we are doing usual Easter stuff with them since they are religious.

    Im not religious at all but we've done Easter since I can remember. It's more about it being a "holiday" and an excuse go get together with family.

    Yeah, we usually do a nice dinner, but we don't typically pray or go to church or anything. So we're more doing that stuff for them. 

    The easter bunny creeps me out. I don't know how we'll approach this holiday in the future!!

    I haven't found a church that I like yet, so we're not doing that this year. 

    But we have a lot of guests from DH's family.  Mom,  sister,  aunt, uncle, grandparents,  and two cousins.  They were over today for lunch,  hanging,  dinner,  and basketball. DD was in rare form once her normal bedtime passed, but she did really well overall. I think tomorrow we will do brunch at a brewery. DH is running a trail race,  so I might bundle up DD and go see him finish.  We'd be back before anyone else was awake. 

    I'm more excited for the rest of the week. I'm on spring break!

    My 5-yr-old decided this year the Easter bunny isn't real. He is generally skeptical about all imaginative things associated with holidays (Santas at the mall are "just people's daddy's dressed up" Halloween is all pretend, etc) and I encourage his skepticism.  He will ask me if its real & I say "what do you think?" and we discuss what he thinks, feels & observes.  So your child may be the same way. 
    And since we're not Christian, exactly, we more observe the pagan parts of the holiday (babies & spring).

    I had to work... 4th 12 hour shift in a row. Easter isn't considered a holiday at my hospital so I didn't even get holiday pay >:(
