Weaning 3 month old

has anyone tried weaning off baby from the  breast to bottle (with or without breastmilk)

im not sure if my baby is losing interest in breastfeeding or he's just trying to go to sleep. As i get in position to feed he seems as if he's hungry. I'll put nipple in his mouth then he backs out. one time he even gagged. It was weird. He wasn't crying he was very calm so I'm not sure. Lol 
Please share if you've experienced this

    Is it possible he just isn't hungry and is wanting some non nutritive sucking? Do you use a pacifier? Sometimes DD will act similarly but will not latch so I give her a pacifier and she'll suck on that.

    my DD wants to play with me instead of eat. One day she covered her mouth with her hand and continued making sucking noises while playing with my arm and hand ...as if I wouldn't notice she stopped nursing. When I pulled her hand away to show her mouth she just smiled and coo'd

    Mine is doing the same.  Most of the time he keeps unlatching and then relatches until I get so frustrated that I just make him a bottle.  I probably didn't help, but I don't want him to wean yet. :(

    Mine also unlatches and relatches all the time. It drives me insane. I either change his diaper or play with him until he is ready

    Yep. Mine just wants to look around and play. Or lock eyes with me and talk... It's damn cute

    Yes my LO has started doing this tons, cooing and smiling and playing while nursing, too cute during it

    Us too. Esp at bed time she wants to cuddle, then a leg message, then chat - finally she'll nurse. It's all good.
