Anyone else not had an OB visit yet?

I'm 9 weeks today & my first OB appt is still a week & a half away. I feel like I have been waiting forever & I have all kinds of anxiety! Ready for some bit of reassurance. It seems like this is an awfully long time to wait for a first appt but I guess it's the norm?

Ugh I'm right there with you, mine is this week on Thursday so I will be 10+1 and I feel like I've been waiting a decade! This was the week I went the last time I was pregnant and found out I had a MMC so my anxiety is at an all time high. I just want to go and breath a sigh of relief just to BE there!!!

Kaessi I have not had one yet. I am 11 weeks 3 days. I have my first OBGYN appt on April 21, 16 weeks. I do wish I could go earlier for reassurance, but here in Manitoba, we do not see them till later on. Early on we just see our regular doctor. Good things come to those who wait.

Wow @littlewillie2016 that's so different than here! They actually already scheduled my second appt for April 15th when I was on the phone to schedule the first. I would go insane if I had to wait that long lol!

Between 9 and 12 weeks for a first appointment with an OB is pretty standard. I will be 9w for my first on Thursday with my MW

I have my first one tomorrow at 10 w 3 d. Last time I got to go in a lot earlier because my mw knew how excited I was, but I'm going to a huge busy office this time.

My first appointment is March 28th. I'll be 9.5 weeks. I can't wait for us to hear the heart beat on the doppler. My son will be there, too, and I'm excited to see his reaction to it.

Had to reschedule from 10+2 to 11+6. Anxious but at the same time, I know the heartbeat will be stringet and Peanut will have grown to be easier to see. At least that's wagt I'm telling myself to ease my anxiety.

Because of travel, my first apt will be at 15 weeks. It would have been 11+1 if I weren't away for a month. I won't see an OB at all unless something is wrong- it's all MW care here.

Mine first appointment was supposed to be at 9w2d but I had spotting so went in early at 7w. My next one for the NT scan is Wednesday at 12w1d. Seems to be different everywhere but as long as every thing is fine I believe 8w-10w is standard for a first appointment

I don't actually see my OB until 12+3. She doesn't see patients until 12 or 13 weeks. I did have an appt with the nurse last week to talk about do's/don'ts, but the wait is annoying.

I don't see my OB til April 22nd, but I did get to speak the nurse last week and talked her into letting me hear baby's heartbeat. My US is actually scheduled before I'll even see my OB, on April 4th.

Won't be seeing mine until 11 weeks. Very annoying - I want to see little baby now, so I worry less about MC and things going wrong. Just want to hear the heartbeat and see (hopefully just one!) little one.

My midwife practice does the first appointment at 10 weeks and not a day before. Mine is next Monday, when I'll be 10+3.

I feel adrift and like I still might be imagining that I'm pregnant because in both my previous pregnancies, I'd had ultrasounds by this point. However, those were because of bleeding (and the first pregnancy didn't even make it this far). That I haven't had any bleeding this time is a good sign, not a bad one!

Mine won't be until nearly 12 weeks... Not because they wouldn't normally see me sooner, but because it took a second missed period for me to figure it out, so I called at 9 weeks to set up an appointment and my doctor is on vacation.

So I was supposed to have my appointment today (I'm 9+2). With a MW that I found through the website of my insurance...turns out she DOESN'T take it.

So back to being uber anxious until I can find someone who actually takes my plan. BUT it looks like most of us will be posting US pics at the same time

For the care I see....we have the initial meeting with a nurse and they go over what we can and can't eat, what type of care doc or MW.....and so on and so on. Depending on when you find out when pregnant at 8 weeks we go in for the pap test and see babies heart beat. I was seen at 8 weeks for the first image. Now I am on monthly check ups.

My first MW appointment is for March 30th so I will be 10w+5d. I am all for hands off treatment for medical stuff but I have been going a little nuts over the past week.

@duckmay, I also feel like I am just imagining this. Hopefully, next week will end those thoughts for both of us!

I've already had 3 appointments: Confirmation, physical, ultrasound. I had my NT today as well, but my doctor didn't perform that. I think it all depends on your office/area as to how often you see them. I go once a month from now on. I am 12w5d.

Absolutely. I keep thinking that I just need to see the baby or hear the heartbeat. Meanwhile, my husband keeps telling people!
