Easter

Anyone planning on doing an Easter basket for baby? What are you going to put in it? I usually do one together for DH and our dog. This year I think I'll do a combo one for baby, DH and dog. for baby I was thinking some gowns, books, maybe some pacifiers. Nothing too outrageous. Any ideas?

I am going to put the fisher price singing puppy (buy 1 get 1 free at BRU) an Easter touch and feel book, and hide and squeak eggs in his basket. I just ordered a basket with his name on it from Amazon and I can't wait for it to come!

I'm putting a Little Sophie in our Lo's Easter basket (the one with grippers). It's a perfect toy/teether for around week 8 when they really start gripping things.

We are doing a basket for her using something's she got as a present from my aunt as she really doesn't need anything. We are doing it more for DS sake as he asked if the Easter Bunny would bring Jenna anything.

He has sooo much so nothing. I do know that I won't be taking him to the big family event. He will only be 3 weeks old. Anyone else opting out of family stuff for Easter?

We live 6 hours away so we have that as an excuse. But if we lived closer, I still wouldn't be bringing him to the family get together. My SIL and BIL are coming to our house though. I'll feel a lot better about bringing him places after he has his 2 month shots.

I got her a personalized basket from pbk and then a sun hat and reusable swim diaper and I'll probably pick up a book or two if I get a chance. I wouldn't have filled her basket if I didn't have 3 other kids who would be asking why Evie didn't get anything from the Easter bunny.

LO is getting a whole basket because if he didn't, the sibling will wonder why. Lol. I was thinking books, bottles... stuff he will need.

We might not go to the family event for Easter. This may upset the in laws so we are going to ask the dr what she thinks. He's only two weeks old tomorrow

I would like to opt out of the family Easter at my grandparents house but I am getting a lot of flack from them and my dad. My mom and my in laws said they would come see us at home, since the baby will be 2 weeks on Sunday. I'm just so aggravated that so much pressure is being put on me from my dad's family. I don't want the baby to get sick and at exactly 2 weeks post c section, I'm not sure I'll be ready to be around a crowd at someone else's house trying to nurse discreetly.
