Mid-Day Exhaustion??

I Can't Keep My Eyes Open!!! Every day between 1:30 and 2:30 my body is like lights out....
Any tips on how to get passed this at work? I'm almost 20 weeks and have a ton of energy in the AM, but right after lunch (and dinner) I cant keep my eyes open....I go for sugar and sweets which i want to avoid but just cant help it...need ideas...stat! ;-) Thanks girls

  • Giiiiirl, same here. I have been getting up (I have a desk job) and taking my 15 minute break during that time period. I go outside and walk around. It helps a little bit! But boy, that exhaustion seems to creep its way back in....

  • I don't have any real suggestions as I just took a nap for an hour and a half! I did read something recently that says not to fight it and if you have an office job, close the door and take a 20 min power nap with your head on your desk or laying on the floor! I used to go nap in my car when I was tired also. :)

  • Honestly, I end up napping at my desk at lunch for 20-30 minutes, and sometimes it helps. Not really, but I guess better than nodding off in the middle of a report or meeting. 
  • I just passed out on the couch watching Daniel Tiger with DS so I'm no help lol

    what about taking a walk (even if it's just around your office) and/or having a cup of decaf?
