I didn't see another post on this, DS is 12 weeks old and for the last two weeks my hair is falling out in alarming quantities. I have very thick hair but I'm losing small clumps. When will this stop? Help
Hair loss is fairly normal after pregnancy. Many people don't lose the normal amounts of hair daily while pregnant and as a result more than normal falls out afterwards.

Mine is falling out like crazy and has been for more than a month. Your body has high levels of progesterone during pregnancy, which means you hardly lose hair, but once levels start to fall post partum, all bets are off.
I have super thick hair without the pregnancy thickness. I was sort of relieved when it finally started coming out, so much more manageable. So many shower drain wookies though.
Mine started falling out this week (14 weeks pp). It makes me so sad since I've been growing my hair out for 2 years. I'm trying to be gentle and only use a wet brush on it.
I lost a ton of hair in my temple area and it looked terrible for a week or so but it appears to be growing back. I cut about 10 inches off that week since it looked so terrible in a ponytail and now I'm rocking a sweet mom bob!
*Sigh* I'm planning to cut it all off. My ponytail is about half as thick as it usually is and falling out like crazy. No point keeping it if it looks like crap. Anyone else doing the big chop?
I'm waiting for the day this starts, but so far at 13 weeks pp and regular prenatals nothing. I already have really short hair, so hopefully it won't be so bad that I have to go back to a pixie!
