@Drove2u yea some cycles it's that many. I've been taking 3 all week plus the lupron I've been taking since March 2nd. It looks like I still have until middle of next week to take injections. Just alternate sides of stomach and thighs that way you are not too sore.

@vssbrm I disassemble my pen everynighy. Lol. I think I will leave it put together tonight minus the used needle.

@jenn6782 congrats on the eggies!! Good luck with the next couple days.

Hi Ladies, I've been out flat on my back this week from OHSS. It is no joke and have missed the entire week of work.

Just got the final update and only 2 of my 13 fertilized made it to freeze on day 5. I have one 5BB and one 4BD. We had already decided on PGS, but a bit bummed that I am spending the money on only two, but at least I will know if they are normal. Praying that one of them is! I am just shocked at how many we lost. Is that a sign of low egg quality?

I think i am broken. My brother just called to tell me that they are pregnant with baby #2. The whole time I was on the phone I was working on doing my injections. Lol. But yea I'm broken because it in no way effected me. No jealousy or hate. I'm soon weird.

Foxy, that's great that you felt no hate or jealousy. We did ivf in November/December and it was unsuccessful. We got the results December 23rd so our Christmas was quite tough emotionally. Then I was texting with a sister in law on Christmas night and I actually told her we did ivf and it didn't work. Asked her not to tell anyone and to her that my husband told his mom Christmas Eve so she'd know not to pressure us about giving our son a sibling and if anyone got pregnant she could just let him know and not me. Told her I couldn't handle hearing someone's pregnant and poured my heart out to her with how sad I was. So she text back saying sorry I went through all of then ended up telling me she's pregnant and that they were going to tell us on skype the next day but decided it's probably best to tell me now etc. I started to type and say congrats wish you would've told hubby though and then erased it and text my husband who was downstairs to come upstairs. I let him read it while I just broke down. Told him he could text them but I couldn't right now. He said no he wasn't worried about it then either. So the next day I got a text from her that wasn't very nice. She said I had a conditional relationship with her based on whether or not she's pregnant and she thought even with what we were going through that we'd be happy for them. It was tough. I started to feel guilty but then as I finished reading it I got mad and hurt. Husband read it and said he'd be back he was going to make a call. The call got him nowhere and I'm not sure what was said. Pretty pointless to explain to someone who hasn't been through it. No excuse to treat people that way though when they know you're dealing with a lot right now. So I text her and said we're happy for them we are just going through a lot right now emotionally. Then she responded being all nice. I am pretty private when we go through our infertility stuff and I know now I can't open up to her again because she doesn't get it. I should've just text her back Christmas night but I was hurting and I didn't want to say anything to ruin her happiness so I figured it could wait. I would never do that to someone though. Even if I weren't struggling with infertility I wouldn't tell someone who just opened up to me about ivf not working that I'm pregnant. I get she didn't want me to hear it from someone else but still. When I know someone's hurting I'd do whatever I could to make them feel better. Or I'd give them space. Anyway sorry that was so long. It's been a tough few months. I've been doing a lot of writing... Poems mostly. It helps some. That and praying. I think it's great that you didn't let it get to you. I wish I could say the same.

@lilsweetheart115 I'm so sorry for what your going through. I think ivf hasn't got to me yet because I haven't gone through the transfer yet. I did get a little bitter after my first retrieval when we found out only one made it to freeze. I check in with my husband if he's ok because we are dealing with male infertility. I tell him and myself there is no one to blame for this happening and when it comes to other people getting pregnant or asking about us I don't get mad. It's not their fault, so I'm just happy for them. Your sister in law though should have been a little more sensitive since she knew.

@lilsweetheart115 I'm so sorry to hear. Sometimes ppl are so insensitive, and selfish. They could have held off for awhile, there was no need to tell you at that moment. Hugs!

So I had to call the clinic this morning. Left a message. Last night I had red spotting with some more intense cramping than I have had during this whole process. I have had cramps odd ones here and there but nothing rest and some Tylenol couldn't help. They told me to expect some cramping for a week after egg retrieval. But last night they were stronger cramps, not bend over in pain type but still concerning. And this morning the spotting has turned to light pink and there's less so that's good news. I still let them know about it, I'm worried about my lining. Ive heard some woman take both the progesterone injections and suppositories - I think I'd be more rest assured with blood work. Gonna be taking it easy this weekend.

Thanks ladies!! @MrsM00re87 did you already have your transfer? I know I spotted a little after retrieval and cramped some afterwards too. Sorry I'm not fully up to date on all of the posts. I started reading them back in February and lost where I was. I may need to start over. Hopefully everything is ok and you get some rest.

@MrsM00re87 please don't count yourself out yet. It is possible that the progesterone is making you spot. I light pink spotted 2 days post ER (not the day after, 2 days after). And just because your other 2 embabies didn't make it to freeze, doesn't mean the one transferred isn't THE ONE that's meant to be

@MrsM00re87 oh no hun! I know that feeling all too well. In a way, I think it's our subconscious trying to protect and prepare us from the hurt if it were to be unsuccessful. Please know that a LOT of women think (or even claimed they just KNEW) they were out, only to be successful in the end. Keep doing everything you're supposed to be doing, and hold on to the hope. I'm so so sorry your other two didn't make it to freeze though. I'm sure you're feeling really disappointed about that, and rightfully so. Big big hugs to you!!!

AFM, my RE called this morning... Out of the 12 eggs retrieved, 11 were mature, out of the 11, 8 fertilized normally with ICSI, 1 is a potential late bloomer on the fertilization, 1 was fertilized abnormally, and the other was damaged. Now I just have to wait for the 3 day call on Monday then Wednesday for the 5 day, hoping for successful biopsy for PGS and freeze, and hopefully we will end up with a few normal chromosome embryos... So nervous!!

@lilsweetheart115 - I'm awaiting CD1 to call in to get started. It should be tomorrow or Monday at latest, so I'm on track to be starting stimms sometime late next week... so we'll be on similar cycles for sure! I've done it before, but certainly nervous about doing it all over again. ugh.

@oxinfree I am so glad we will start around the same time. I've also done ivf before. The first time was successful back in March/April 2014 but the second time in November/December 2015 was unsuccessful. My egg count is only decreasing so who knows how much time I have before they're all gone.

@jenn6782 Those are exciting news! Hope it all continues to go great, the wait has to be so nerve racking!
For those that haven't started yet i'll tell you my experience so far: Today was my 3rd day of stims, the 1st day the Gonal F actually burnt quite a bit but now i know it was because i didn't leave out of the fridge long enough, i was just so anxious to start! Now that i have left it out 30 min it's much better. I managed to bruise myself on day 1, and for some reason my belly button is super tender

. I had a headache the day after which lasted over 24h, i think that was the worst part but overall i feel fine and the shots are scary at first but not terrible at all. I let DH inject me today only because i could see he wanted to be involved. That took A LOT of courage lol! But he did good!

sounds good so far @yelllow22 -- i have never had burning with gonal, just with menopur. menopur is my least favorite med. i have a lot of bruises for just day 3 of stims, more than last time, but no hormonal swings or anything thus far. hope things continue to be good for you

I hope everyone is doing well. My beta is tomorrow but after much home testing, I'm 99% sure this cycle is a BFN. Looks like it's back to the drawing board for IVF #3. Good luck to everyone else this month...fx for lots of BFPs.

Glad things are going well @yelllow22! I totally understand the headaches, I'm on day 8 of Lupron and last night I had one of the worst headaches ever! I can only wait to see what happens when I add my Gonal-F next week, yikes! Happy to hear your fertilization went so well @jenn6782 -keep us updated!

Afm- I'm feeling good, except for the slight headache that remains from last nights monster headache. I have a history of migraines, which doesn't help. I'm anxious for my Dr. appointment Tuesday; I know the appointment won't be much but I want to hear what they have to say thus far in the process.

Hi just checking in. Had another U/S today looks like I am now day to day checkups. Lots of growth happening so I think my trigger may happen Wednesday. Im getting pretty uncomfortable. I just want this to be over. Im done with shots. I just hope the cold I had this past week didnt hurt my egg quality.

afm - day one seems to be today. just waiting for full flow to kick in (tmi I know) before calling the clinic. Really anxious... not remotely excited about getting going. Bringing up a lot of emotions from our previous cycles. Really nervous to put in all this effort and end up with yet another bfn. I'm freaking out. I'll get through though... just early days jitters I suppose.

Hi everyone! Been reading and trying to catch up. Last week was my last week at work before starting FMLA today. Today will be day 9 for me and we added in ganilirex yesterday. Has monitoring the yesterday and go back tomorrow. I think he counted 10 that were of size and didn't bother counting the ones under ten. Guess I will learn more tomorrow. A bit uncomfortable at this point. When I initially got my schedule they had us estimates for retrieval on the 24th. My biggest follicle yesterday was 15mm. So I guess we will see if that changes. Wishing the best for everyone!

@oxinfree aha oh yea I am going to keep stimming. My RE bumped my meds up tonight to 225 of follistim and 2 bottles of Menopur. I was crying on the inside when my nurse told me that one. So right now I only have 10 follicles that are between 16 and 12 mm. I hope this boost in meds give me more follies and eggs.

@Rachnan - no. Unfortunately we used our only 2 frozen embies on our frozen cycle a few years ago. After a break I'm doing it all over again from scratch. Ugh. So I have bw/ultrasound on Wednesday to see if I'm ready to start stimms then or Thurs (my guess is Thurs). I am looking at a tentative transfer of sometime in early April ...7-11 roughly depending on how stimms go and how many embryos we get.

@milanjayla - great that you're moving along. It's normal to feel uncomfortable at that point, but no less annoying. Hope you can get your retrieval done this week. good luck!

@lilsweetheart115 - yes. made the call! first aptm on Wednesday too!!!! look at us all in sync! stimms later this week... getting real again.

@jenn6782 - any news/update on the embies?
