Embryo not seen on second u/s

in 1st Trimester
Last Thursday I had an ultrasound that showed a 5wk6day embryo measuring 0.27cm. I go back today, one week later, and no embryo is seen but sack is measuring at 6 weeks but empty. I go back next week to hopefully see something. I have had no bleeding. No signs of miscarriage. Anyone else go through this? Within one week it was gone.

    Unfortunately missed miscarriages are not uncommon. The embryo stops developing, but the mothers body doesn't recognize the change and does not initiate a miscarriage. I'm sorry you're going through this.

    As pp said it's very common, for the body not to realise. I had a mmc and had morning sickness all the way up until the 12 weeks scan when we found baby had stopped developing at 8 weeks and the sack was empty.
