  • @GoldenKeys can you update my dx to include MFI (low morph)?  Thanks!

Scheduled an appt with an RE for 3/16.  Hoping to lose an additional 10lbs before then.  CD 37 currently and I'm thinking I may be having another anovulatory cycle - I wasn't as strict with my diet and exercise the last couple weeks and wonder if there's a correlation.

GTKY: Love is... mutual respect, shared responsibility, unconditional support.

@kerismatic I'm with you on the weight loss! Is there a specific plan you are trying?

Today was my last pill for clomid this cycle. Have blood work and US on Wednesday. I think we are going to be moving to iui next but will confirm Wednesday.

Love is accepting and embracing your partner entirely.

Nothing new for me to report. My husband and I are kinda snowed in.  We are officially in my fertile window,  but it's difficult to get excited or to be hopeful anymore. He actually convinced me to go ahead and "try" last night. I didn't really want to because it was only cd9...and I didn't have any ewcm yet. I didn't wanna waste a night knowing I'm probably not fertile.  My husband has a low sex drive and I didn't want him to be "tired" later in the week.  ANYWAY. .. I have a telephone appointment with my obgyn to discuss getting referred to shady grove fertility center to start iui hopefully. I have my husband on fertileaid to Improve is morphology that was at 2% on his first sa. His second sa is on the 10th.

Love is when you put someone's needs and feelings above your own.
  • Just finished stims last night for our first round of IVF.  Had my final ultrasound today to check follicles; 28 follicles with an estrogen level of over 4k (I overstimulated, even on minimum dosing; so bummed!  No PCOS, just unlucky!).  To try to avoid OHSS, they switched my trigger shot to Lupron with a tiny bit of Novarel.  Egg retrieval scheduled for Wednesday (DH has 0% morphology, so we are doing ICSI), then we have no choice but to do a frozen transfer at a later month.  I was hoping we could do a fresh transfer, but they said tending to OHSS is more important right now.  Hoping our large amount of eggs doesn't mean that they're all lower quality (especially with the Lupron trigger).
    Me = 33, DH = 34
Married for 5 years, TTC for 4 years

    History:
    3 MCs at 12wks, 8wks, 5wks = referred to RE in March '15
dx:  MFI (0% morphology, 18% motility)
    3 b2b IUIs on Gonal-F & Ovidrel = 3 BFNs
Round 1 of IVF in 2/16 = overstimmed with E2 of almost 6,000.  23 eggs retrieved, 17 mature, 15 fertilized, 8 blasts frozen on day 5.  Fresh cycle canceled due to too many eggs.

    Currently:
Recovering from moderate OHSS and prepping for a FET in March April (delayed another month due to ovaries 3x the normal size, filled with too many cysts, due to overstimming back in Jan/Feb).

Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. --Romans 5:3-5 ESV
  • Went in for my follie check today and everything looks good but thin lining. My lh was a bit high so I may ovulate before my IUI again. At least we are Bd'ing. Go back in tomorrow to see what they say next.
  • I had a repeat 7dpo progesterone draw today. RE appointment is Friday. after waiting close to 3 months, I can't believe it's finally appointment week.
Love is respect, trust and support.
  • @Winnie81 along with my PCOS dx comes insulin resistance, so my focus has been mostly on reducing sugars and simple carbs.  Sticking to 1200 calories or less.  And I'm going to start switching over to organic meats to reduce growth hormone and antibiotic exposure.

  • Hi ladies! I hope you all had a great weekend. This cycle has been tough. I have not temped at all. I don't even want to. I feel like its a mulligan month. Hubby and i have also decided if we don't get a BFP by  June we will make the appointment at the RE. This way it gives us some time to save for Fertility treatment since our INS does not cover it.
@GoldenKeys Im note sure if its relevent to add but i am taking Myo-Inositol and D-chiro Inositol.

Hi everyone!  I'm 3dpiui today.  Feeling less crampy/sore than I was the last 2 days.  Was hoping for a higher sperm count for our IUI than we had (9 million post wash) since DH's most recent SA before that showed a higher motile sperm count (closer to 15 million with 43 million total).  I have no idea what the total count was for our IUI but I guess it doesn't matter, since only 9 million passed the "test" anyway.  I'm not expecting a BFP but obviously still hoping for one.  During my TWW I've been distracting myself with knitting and crocheting projects that keep my mind off TTC for many hours at a time :)

QOTW: Love is life.  No better way to describe it.

My update isnt much. We have our first appointment thursday morning, so getting a little anxious about that. Im currently passing a kidney stone, ive had them before they are typically small and pass in a day or 2, but hurt like a brojen rib while its doing its dance down to my bladder. On that note I accidentally found a trigger, webt to take sone pain meds for said stone and noticed it was out of the bottle I was prescribed in May after my D&C, so I horse face cried over that for a few minutes, but Im better now and hope thats the last trigger I find.

Today is CD 12 for me and I just had my first follicle scan. I have one follicle at 18mm so depending on bloodwork I could go back tomorrow or Thursday and then possibly IUI on Thursday or Friday depending. This is our last IUI before turning to IVF so next week I set up an appointment with my RE to discuss IVF and all of the details.

  • Hi all - CD 10 here I go in for follicle check on Thursday 2/18 to see growth. Strangely this cycle on same dosage of Clomid and my CM is really increased and somewhat EW. Last cycle I had hardly any CM on Clomid and even paperwork says it can make things drier. I guess every cycle is just so different! If things look good I will be triggering this weekend/early next week for IUI .

Update: went in for follicle check CD12 with two follicles one at 16.5mm the other 21.5mm (a 3rd tiny 7.5mm won't mature) i will trigger tonight and IUI sat 2/20. Since my dominant is mature already and could ovulate before IUI RE wants us to BD tonight and tomorrow & since DH numbers are very high we should still have a good sample for Sat IUI. Good luck everyone!

  • Update: Day 6 into stimming for my 1st IVF cycle. I'm on Gonal-F and Cetrotide.
I will be going into the office tomorrow early in the am @ 7:00 to have follow up blood work/ultrasound done. Happy thoughts... hoping for some good news. I'm rather uncomfortable so I imagine the meds are doing what they are supposed to.

  • TTC a couple years a ago. No luck. So we took a break bought a house, a couple dogs, a couple motorcylces. We've talked and decided it's time for next chapter in our lives. I've quit smoking & quit drinking. Just going to see how it goes for a bit. Wish me luck;)
