Anyone starting to drop yet?

I was noticing my bump looked lower and I was feeling much more comfortable today so I'm assuming I started to drop. With my twins I dropped probably about 26 weeks. I told my SIL and she said this was way way early. I have an appointment on Thursday so I will ask my practitioner about it, but I was curious if anyone has started to drop yet or dropped early with a previous pregnancy? I am at a higher risk for PTL after my last pregnancy so I may just be overly paranoid lol.

ETA: I'm 28 weeks today

  • I certainly have not dropped but I carry low. I don't even remember dropping with my first son and he was a week late.... (That was 3 years ago though.)

  • My first pregnancy I noticed I was carrying low around 30 weeks. Once I hit 37 weeks, I was carrying so low I could barely walk, no joke I swore I was going to go early but my DD was born 2 days shy of her due date. This time around, I'm carrying so high I can barely eat without feeling like I'm going to vomit.
  • I have been carrying low as well and at some points ive worried that baby is trying to make a break for it. I can't even imagine dropping any lower at this point.
  • No help here.  I always carried high, but baby still seems to use my bladder and crotch as a punching bag.

  • Can't help. I am carrying low as well. If I drop I feel the baby would just drop right out.
  • I've been carrying pretty low so far, I actually feel like I'm starting to move up a little bit I also just started showing about 3 weeks ago. FTM so no other experience to offer. Maybe baby just wants to hang out low...?
  • Hahahahaha!!!!!! That gif is amazing!!!
Also, thank you everyone for your responses : )
  • I don't think you should have dropped yet since you haven't even reached the full height baby will reach. I never dropped with my son so I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the baby doesn't even reach full Full ascent until after 30 weeks
  • Feel like ive been low this whole time. I think its due to a lack of working out and not having good stomach muscles. Or at least thats what some crazy lady at target told me

  • I am 28 weeks also, and people at work have started to comment that I look like I've dropped. My mom brought it up the other day too. I haven't noticed anything myself but I feel like baby has always been sitting low. She sure does kick/punch pretty low!
  • I don't think my belly ever got high enough to drop? I'm 26+3 today, team green, and am always getting kicked down low.
