My 3: 1. I have a Chiro appointment today and couldn't be happier. She releases my round ligaments and some of my tight jaw muscles. It feels so good when I leave!
2. My last day at my part time job is this Saturday. I'm excited to have more time to be with DD, but I'm going to miss the supplemental income. At the end of the day, DD>$. For sure.
3. I finally ordered a sectional for our living room. It's gray and I'm obsessed with it. Can't wait to sit my pregnant butt down in it.
1. Saw baby boy yesterday. All is well. 2. Our date is booked - unless baby decides on an earlier date, he will be born on the 17th of May. That's 9 weeks from now! 3. We have a public holiday on Monday so long weekend for us And then of course Easter next weekend - so two long weekends in a row!! Awesome! 4. Daredevil weekend!! 5. Busy reading Finder's Keepers from Stephen King. Enjoying it so far. 6. I am tired and need constant naps - at least I can fit them in in my day which makes me happy. I don't know how else I would have coped. 7. I am happy tomorrow is Wednesday cause that means we can sleep in. 8. Meeting with prospective new clients tomorrow - wish us luck! 9. I skipped out on buying something sweet for after dinner tonight and now I am regretting it. 10. Is there any other 'Division Widows' on here? DH is obsessed with that game but it makes me happy that he is having fun, besides - I'd rather have a DH who is a geek than one that frequents bars.
1. I feel like baby Luna has completely dropped. Seriously. On Sunday she was all up in my rib cage and suddenly I woke up and I felt like I couldn't find her! She is soooo low! I actually woke up in the middle of the night and reflexively rested my hand just under my boobs, where I usually feel her, and couldn't. I was still half asleep so I frantically searched the bed because I could've sworn I had delivered her in the night. My son's Curious George stuffed animal was under the covers and I actually scooped it up and cradled it for a moment, thinking it was the baby. Then I felt her kick super low and immediately thought, "Am I having twins?" then realized I was holding a monkey doll. But in my (slightly less irrational) waking hours, I have had SO MANY people, from coworkers to the teacher at my son's school, comment how low my belly looks. And the bump is TINY. I mean, I look like I did when I was 20wks. It is bizarre.
2. I have had a lot of people ask incredulously "Are you still working? Aren't you like ready to pop any second?" It is not weird to be working at 33wks, right? Maybe it just seems like I have been pregnant forever (to no one more than me!) but I feel like it is totally normal to still be working. Of course, whenever I get called to a scene or to assess a restraint, all of my coworkers are hovering over me like I am going to drop a baby anywhere I go. I won't lie; I don't totally hate it.
3. MH has been super weird. He is totally detached, yelling at kitchen appliances, stomping around, and refuses to talk to me. I keep trying to get him to open up, but he is just so distant and refuses. I think he is starting to freak out about normal pregnancy stuff since I have tried so hard to shield him from it. Last time, I let him know if my farts smelled weird, but this time I wanted to keep a happy face so hard that I think it is now hitting him all at once that crazy things are happening to my body and soon I will be literally torn apart again. I appreciate how upsetting that is for him, given our history, but I am surprised and disappointed he isn't pulling closer and hovering. I wouldn't mind a little extra pampering and TLC right now, but don't know how to ask for it without seeming like a brat.
2)
I think one of the senior managers on my team
has resigned. We will find out what the big news is at noon today. What really
sucks, is that since I am going out on ML, I highly doubt my boss will offer me
the position. But I would really like to be considered!
3)
Allergies in full effect today…just when I
thought I had them beat!
4)
Dr appointment tomorrow. Worried about any
potential weight gain, but hey, I can’t resist the ice cream!
5)
I emailed MIL this morning about birth announcements.
She didn’t want to send wedding announcements to her friends and family as she
thought it was “gift grabby”(???). So interested to see what she says about
baby announcements. Especially considering she wanted to have a shower for me. Isn’t
that “gift grabby”? What’s funny about the wedding announcements is that she didn’t
want me to send those, but instead asked me to print pictures to send out.
Which is all the announcement was…hmmmmm…
6)
Its 9:20. Too early for a nap under my desk?!
7)
I had a coffee when I got up, and having an iced
coffee now. And I really don’t even feel bad today about it.
8)
In 15 days, we can all say “The baby is due next
month”--- EEEKKK!!!!!!
9)
My 1 year wedding anniversary is early April. I
made DH a cute book of things I love about him. Really excited to give it to
him!
10)
Even more excited about wedding anniversary
dinner! I need an excuse to have a blow out and get all dressed up. It will be
our last night out before little girl makes her entrance, and we really need
it!
Yes! My favorite day! 1. My two Texas showers were March 5th and 6th and both went great! Baby got spoiled and I loved seeing everyone. However, it's nice to be settling back into my routine now. 2. My boss asked for a detailed transition plan of my work duties and a timeline of my leave, so I better work on that soon. 3. We are visiting two pediatricians this week; I'm ready to get that decided and checked off the list. 4. I've had 4 friends/co-workers give birth in the past 7 days - whoa! 5. DH surprised me by booking a weekend trip to Florida for my 30th birthday in a couple weeks. I'm ready for a few days of beach relaxation. I'll be 32-33 weeks at that point, so hoping all goes well! 6. I don't think baby needs anything else until he/she is born! It's hard to resist adding more stuff, but I'm trying to focus on the nesting/cleaning/organizing whenever I get the shopping urge! 7. We have our 3D/4D ultrasound on Saturday (31 weeks) and I can't wait to see LO. 8. DH and I need to discuss and decide on guardianship. I'm dreading that convo so I keep putting it off. 9. The uncertainty of how/when this baby will arrive is starting to freak me out. 10. Better get back to work- busy busy week!
1. Donuts. I stopped for them this morning and I'm eating them just as soon as I'm done with my 10 things. 2. There are a bunch of updated threads that I want to read, but I have to force myself to close TB after TTT so I can get some work done. Unfocused...the struggle is real. 3. We have our BFing class tonight, which I'm looking forward to. 4. My heart rate was at 120 several times yesterday, for several hours each time. Definitely the worst it's been for me in years so I'm anxious for my appt on Thursday. 5. I miss sleeping. 6. Sunday night I washed all my floors including our constantly muddy breeze way. Should have looked at the weather...since it's been raining pretty much since then and there are muddy dog prints all over the place with no end in sight since it's supposed to rain all week. 7. I went to the 1st hearing that the Dept of Health is holding to see if there is a need to keep the birthing center where I am supposed to deliver open last night. It was well attended and people had a lot of compelling things to say. There are 2 more hearings this week so hopefully the DOH decides to keep it open. 8. My boobs are seriously growing by the day. They are unruly. 9. My least favorite admin comes back to work tomorrow. I seriously don't like her, she spends the entire day on the phone gossiping and makes tons of mistakes since she is more focused on her personal life than her work. It's been a nice 10 days without her while she's been on vacation. Even though the admin who replaces her is a little odd (one time she told me that gay people are gay because they have a different number of chromosomes than straight people) I still strongly prefer her to the other one. 10. I ate both my donuts while I was writing TTT instead of waiting until I was done, and I'm not sorry.
1. Tonight is the last night of curling! My legs are excited, I don't think they could handle another week 2. The teacher for our baby class at the hospital is quite kooky, but I like her. 3. Hospital tour this week! 4. I went to a regular yoga class yesterday and had to improvise a lot 5. Baby found a nerve to start punching with made yoga not very relaxing 6. DH is traveling this week 7. Since DH is gone I bought the dogs new bones and toys to keep them entertained (yay sale at Petsmart!!!) 8. I have way too many assignments at work. Trying to knock them out but it's exhausting 9. I will likely go into hiding at work so I don't get assigned any more projects before maternity leave 10. I sent my boss my proposed maternity leave schedule and modified work schedule for when I come back... I hope I don't need to change it too much!
1. I put in a facilities request last week asking for some temporary boxes or shelves for my desk at work so I can alternate between sitting and standing at my desk for more comfort. Facilities wrote back saying they ordered me an electric desk! Woo Hoo! 2. Finally bought all of our nursery furniture last night! So excited! 3. I had 1.5 showers and am so thrilled for all the wonderful gifts. I say .5 because the other teachers at my husband's school threw him a shower, but he said it would be awkward if I wasn't there. 4. I turned in my maternity plans for work on Friday and my boss approved them! 5. We had an interviewee lined up for last Friday morning as a temp for my job, but he cancelled 1 minute before the interview started. 6. Time is running out to find a temp and my boss is starting to panic. 7. ^ I guess that means I have decent job security? 8. We're doing our hospital tour on Saturday morning. 9. I can't stop buying baby clothes. They are the cutest things I have ever seen. 10. I'm on spring break from classes this week and honestly don't know what to do with my free time. What a wonderful feeling.
1. The weather has lifted here which is a relief, I like being able to walk a little when I'm not a zombie on the couch. 2. DS is having a hard time going to sleep lately. I put in about an hour of attempts last night then as soon as DH got home he got him down. Not sure if he was tired out finally or was waiting for him. I guess either way it's a good thing he goes down for DH given the transition we are all about to go through. 3. I'm ready to move closer to family. 4. Scheduled my OB consultation (required by midwife practice) for early April. Wild! 5. LO was head down at appt last week. Hoping she stays that way! 6. I was religious about putting on lotion/tummy oil last time and at the very end still got a few stretch marks. This time I've put it on maybe 5 times total. Whoops. 7. Florida in a week and a half! I have a bikini from shortly after having DS so I'm hoping it can accommodate these giant boobs and bump (fold over waist)...but it's not going to be pretty! 8. We got a second fridge for basement! Yay for hoarding food. I mean nesting. 9. Does anyone else feel "foggy?" I can't tell if I'm tired due to not enough sleep or if this is just my 3rd trimester state. 10. Uhhh that's a wrap. I wish I could have 10 more coffees.
1. Had an appointment yesterday and baby is head down. That explains the more frequent bathroom trips and the hip/pelvic discomfort... But by all means stay in that position LO. I don't want to worry about getting you back there in case you decide to flip around. 2. So tired today. My schedule was thrown off yesterday so I took a nap. Then I couldn't fall asleep at bedtime. Now I just want to crawl under my desk. 3. Might be going to Home Depot during lunch today to pick some paint colors for the walls in the nursery. I guess me telling DH if he didn't get his act together I would have my dad come out and do the nursery got him motivated. 4. Speaking of motivation, the repairing of the walls in the nursery that hadn't even been started on Saturday is now almost done. The last few bits of it are getting finished up today and painting SHOULD get started this coming weekend. We'll see though. At least I got DH to agree to order the flooring now even if the painting isn't started. 4. High of 81 today. I thought I would enjoy the warm weather being here again. Not so much. I'm constantly hot all the time now and it makes it so much harder to sleep. 5. Rings officially came off yesterday. Fortunately I found the ring DH got me forever ago as sort of a promise ring and it fits perfectly so I'm wearing that now. Apparently I had bigger fingers once upon a time. 6. Also thankful that my Toms are at the point to where they are stretched out a little bit and are slightly big. Perfect for accommodating my swelling feet. I may be going out this weekend to pick up another pair of something else so I'm not stuck in these for the next 8-9 weeks. 7. The person who sits across from me has had sinus issues for literally the past 3 months and they refuse to do anything to take care of it. They literally sound like they're about to spit out phlegm 99 percent of the time. It's driving me nuts. 8. Half the people at work are out at the moment voting. I can't vote today bc I'm registered as an undeclared party member (we have closed party voting in Florida), but no one at work knows that and I may be using that later to take a longer lunch today... 9. My birthday is in about 3 weeks... I also think my 'surprise' shower might be on the same day. I thought I would be excited for this, but I'm kinda not looking forward to it. Thankful people are taking the time out to do this and to come celebrate, but I hate being the center of attention. Especially for surprises. 10. Pregnancy brain is killing me lately. I literally read back through all this and had to correct so many things that didn't make sense. I'm sure I missed some.
1. I really don't think DH realizes how much life is going to change after a baby. Almost every time I say "Well, I'm not sure if we'll be able to do that/go to x event next year since we'll have a baby.." He's like, "Oh we'll just bring him. It's not a big deal." While I definitely know we'll have baby out and about.. I also know we can't go, go, go as much as we do right now. And I'm pretty sure bringing a baby to a 7:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Bible study on a weekly basis is not the best idea.
2. Officially 3rd trimester, yay
3. We still don't have a name picked out. My dad has nicknamed him Bronco, and DH has been calling him Quartus. My sister freaked out on me yesterday saying, "If you don't pick a name soon, he's going to get stuck with one of these terrible names!" Um, no. Last time I checked, DH and I get to decide his name.
4. The weather here has been b-e-a-utiful the past few days.
5. I drink so much water. I feel like a camel.
6. Furniture-wise, we still need to get a glider and dresser for the nursery. There's a family that owns a furniture store in DH's hometown that loves DH, so hopefully we'll go shopping at their store over Easter weekend. They gave his sister a huge discount on the nursery furniture she bought from them a few years ago.
7. I cannot stop eating BoomChickaPop white Cheddar popcorn.
8. I didn't get to watch the Bachelor finale last night, but I'm sure the Internet will spoil who the winner is by the end of the day.
Married: May 2012 DS1: May 2016 DS2: Jan 2019 Baby #3 EDD: 6/18/24
1. I had two slices of my baby shower cake yesterday. And that was me controlling myself.
2. DH took the day off yesterday and put my glider together! I love it, although I'm sad I can't sit in it too long right now because it hurts my back. Everything hurts my back.
3. I have a list of names picked out, but DH hasn't thought of names AT ALL. And it's driving me completely nuts. I feel like he's taking the fun out of name picking.
4. I'm excited to start washing and folding all the baby clothes/blankets I have. I don't think I've ever been excited for laundry before.
5. I can't wait for my last day of work. I think April is going to drag on.
6. My ILs spent the weekend with us, and I have to say I'm very impressed with the restraint they showed when it came to touching my belly. I really don't mind if they do, just more on my terms. They waited until I would say the baby is moving, or the baby has hiccups.
1. 3D sonogram Thursday! 2. Breast feeding class tomorrow 3. Boss approved for me to work at home whenever I'm in need 4. Worried about the money situation after all this is said and done. 5. Napping sounds so good right now. 6. Everything has been hurting lately. 7. Is it lunch time yet? 8. #3 is making it harder and harder to get out of bed now cause I know all I have to do is text that I'm not coming in. 9. March 15th is free cone day at dq 10. March 18th and 19th take any sized cup into 7-11 and get it filled with icee!
1. I came here two hours ago to start this.. I am just now getting to it.
2. I am SO STRESSED OUT. It cannot be good for baby.
3. We are supposed to close on our house on Friday, move over the weekend, and have to be out of our apartment by Monday... I got a call from the lender yesterday and the IRS still hadn't gotten them our tax transcript. She said we may possibly have to delay closing, I told her that was not possible and asked if there was anything I could do. I ended up getting the transcript this morning and sending it to her. I hope it's not too late!
4. We had our last 3 hour Lamaze class last night (ended at 9:30) and I am so tired. I am usually in bed by 8:30pm! I wasn't asleep until around 11:00pm last night.
5. I can't wait to get off work and go to the gym, I hope it helps this stress go away.
6. I am having a cream cheese and avocado sandwich for lunch. Yummy!
7. I had my 3D/4D ultrasound on Sunday. It was an amazing experience.
8. I am almost positive my brother's girlfriend cried at said ultrasound.
9. We got a heartbeat stuffed animal. I am in love.
10. I am going to eat lunch now!!
Me: 31
DH: 29, SA - Great
Married: June 12,2011
TTC #1: 1/2014
Diagnosis: Hypothalamic Amenorrhea
Treatment: Clomid: 50mg, 100mg, 150mg - not successful and not monitored
1. My due date is 4/30 and I can't decide if I want time to slow down or speed up. 2. I had a great time at our shower this weekend but I hate all of the pics. I look like a whale in a pretty dress. 3. It's nice to know what we still need to get and I really want to get it NOW but H isn't in as much of a hurry. Hoping to have everything set in the next couple weeks. 4. We have our BF/Newborn Care class on Sunday and I'm really excited! It is the last big thing on our calendar before the baby comes. 5. Having lots of hot flashes and night sweats this week. 6. So many people commented on my body at our shower and I did not like it. Two of H's relatives told me that I "don't look pregnant from the back" - eww! I think they meant it as a compliment but it really bothers me when people tell me I don't look different except for my bump because 1) its not at all true (it can't be!!), I've gained over 40 lbs!! b) it makes me really uncomfortable to think that people are evaluating my body that way. 7. My H is getting really excited for the baby to come and it is really adorable. 8. We are both feeling more clingy lately, the more pregnant I get the harder it is to be apart. 9. I'm hungry. 10. Time to go get lunch!!
1. My nursery rocker and ottoman come today! That completes the big nursery furniture. We have a painter coming next week to paint the nursery and some other rooms in the house, and then I can finally start putting things together. The only thing is I have wallpaper for an accent wall, and the painter doesn't do wallpaper. 2. I feel like my cold is finally going away. I kicked ass on my morning walk this morning and even did a little running. Sometimes when I am dealing with stress, I dream of running. I miss it so much. 3. I was all in in going back to work post baby, but with recent events, I now don't know what to do. I really, really like the director, but I don't know how I can do all the things and still be a good wife and mother. I'm intimidated. 4. My husband and I have been clueless on names. Every Saturday morning with breakfast, we comb baby names. When we were doing some errands, I said we should start calling her by x name to see how it fits, and I got teary eyed when I said the name. I think that's a sign that we finally found "the one." 5. As of today, I'm in single digit weeks! @Charissadeats May 17th is my due date! 6. My friend sent out invites to the baby shower she's hosting for me. I'm so excited! I totally was not expecting a shower since we just moved here, but my husband's new squadron is so supportive. 7. Speaking of showers, our family is finally buying baby gifts from our registry. It's so exciting! I'm sure I'll get flack for this, but I sent an email to my dad asking if he'd get us the Uppa Vista Stroller. We can buy it ourselves if push comes to shove, but I totally tried pulling at the "grandfather' heart strings. I'm such an needy daughter - he's already hoping I have a little hellion for payback. 8. I think Ben was a boring Bachelor, and I'm glad he picked boring Lauren. May they be boring and happy together. 9. I thought being pregnant during the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays wasn't fun, but I have to be honest. I'm kind of happy I won't be pregnant during the summer. I know I'll be baby/house bound, but I'm looking forward to BBQs, white wine, and summertime. 10. My phone is glued to my side hoping I get my GB results back today.
1. Today at my appointment they said this will be my last 2 week stretch before the 1/week appointments start. Yikes! 2. We seem to have survived DD's transition to her big girl bed. Her naps have shortened in length, and she hasn't learned to chill out in her room when she wakes up yet, but I'm just relieved to finally have made the move. 3. Our nursery is almost done! I'm just doing finishing touches. 4. We decided on an "under the sea" theme for the nursery. I'm going to order some artwork from Etsy today to go over the crib. 5. I'm pretty sure DH went against my request and bought HUGE orca and sea turtle stuffed animals to go in LOs nursery. He did the same thing when I was pregnant with DD, except that time he got a giraffe and a lion. Lol. 6. I have had terrible headaches and a return of nausea for the past 2 days. 7. My BFF was in town this weekend and dropped off a bunch of warm-weather maternity clothes. She is a lifesaver; I was starting to get desperate with the warm weather, but I couldn't bring myself to buy anything. 8. We made homemade Rigatoni D (Maggiano's style) this weekend. It is delicious. 9. I've been so tired the past few days. 10. I slept for 9 hours last night! But still woke up feeling exhausted.

All I can focus on is Maggiano's. I freaking love that place!!
1. My exMIL wants DD to join the swim team with her cousins this summer. It's M-Th from 4-6pm. Hell no. I'm going to actually be off this summer and I don't want to make that commitment. Luckily DD doesn't want to drop gymnastics so I'm in the clear. But I'll still be the bad guy to exMIL.
2. Can't wait for my growth ultrasound on Thursday.
3. I have 5-6 weeks left. Oh my goodness!
4. I've been having mid back pain that radiates to my belly and feels like BH. BH have always been at the top. Today I've been having cramps on the bottom side of my belly. Fun times.
5. DH and I always go to the same restaurant as our first date on our first date anniversary which is Thursday. I can't wait. We only go once a year and it's yummy food. Plus it's a great traditional. No matter what we have going on, we always go back to where it all started.
6. DD really wants to do girl scouts and I've contemplated being a co-leader. But I work fulltime then I'll have a baby. I must be crazy.
1. Between the time change this weekend and it being gray and rainy I can't focus at all at work today
2. I took my three hour test on Friday and keeping continually checking my online records to see if results are posted and really hoping I passed
3. Doctors appointment tomorrow! Even though they're quick I love getting to hear our little girls heartbeat
4. We have our birthing class on Saturday and I'm excited and also terrified about it. I'm worried after hearing all the details I'll be way more scared
5. Her nursery is almost done, just a few more things to hang on the wall
6. Really hoping nesting kicks in soon because my house needs a good deep clean
7. Four more hours left of work and I may just fall asleep at my desk soon
1. I love sandwiches. They are all I really want to eat these days. That and noodles.
2. DD and I went to a Babyfit class at CrossFit this morning. It was fun but it's getting really hard to workout. You get to bring your kids and they do a modified workout along with the parents. I will keep going as long as I can and then start up again after recovery.
3. A few weeks ago I started two Pepcid pills a day at the recommendation of my doc and haven't had heartburn since. It is SO glorious.
4. It's spaghetti night at our house and I'm really excited about it. My DH isn't a huge fan but I put Italian sausage in it to try to spruce it up for him and he likes it better that way. Anyway, noodles.
5. We finished the flower beds in the front yard this last weekend and plan to do the backyard this weekend. It hardly froze at all this year in Dallas so most of our stuff from last year is already growing back in full force.
6. I really want a Tiger's Blood snow cone with cream
2. I had a great time at our shower this weekend but I hate all of the pics. I look like a whale in a pretty dress.
This. I know exactly how you feel. I dont like any of the pics that were taken of me with family/friends. "whale in a pretty dress" is precisely how i described the pics, especially standing next to all my thin non pregnant friends. UGHHH... yeah none of those pics are getting posted or framed.

I was just thinking about this. I mean, I look awesome in my dress...for a pregnant woman. However, none of my friends or guests will be pregnant so I am going to stand out like the big elephant in the room, literally! And it just so happens that all my family and friends are pretty thin and/or athletic so I normally look giant compared to them, but now I will eclipse them! Maybe I will stand like 3 ft behind them if we take a group photo to try to trick the camera...
1. I hate the point in pregnancy when you brush your teeth or lean in to look in the bathroom mirror and bump your bump. So uncomfortable.
2. I have no idea what to wear for Easter. We do mass and a brunch, and I would like to attempt to try to look decent.
3. So many comments on my body. I am not one to enjoy pregnancy, so I have a hard time with the comments on top of that. I just think my fetus might be giving everyone the finger? Dilation is not an appropriate topic - why can't people get that?
4. I have never watched one minute of the Bachelor, and I really don't understand why there are so many magazine covers? That is probably an UO.
5. I really want to watch Vinyl - has anyone started it?
6. I am ready for sushi. And booze.
7. I have 8 weeks left, and am wondering what my weight gain will be like compared to my last 8 weeks of my first pregnancy. I am just so g d hungry all the time. I can eat a feast, and an hour late feel ravenous. That is definitely a third tri thing for me.
8. We had two names we were deciding between for this girl. We chose one, and have referred to the baby for months as this name. My toddler has also decided she is with child, and she calls the baby in tummy Margot (the name we did not choose), and last night pulled her shirt up and was like "Oh watch my belly, Margot's kicking". Just spot on imitation. It was everything.
9. My intense pregnancy/labor/delivery fear is that my baby will not move head down, and I will have to have a c section. I am just so afraid of the pain and subsequent recovery. I have never had any kind of medical procedure, so the fear is there..
10. I live in this the constant state of excitement and readiness for May 15, and the overwhelming anxiety at how much I have to do to get ready.
@That1didntcount We are really enjoying Vinyl. If you are into the music from that era, all the better!! The acting is mostly good, and they put a lot of effort into the set design. I would definitely recommend it. The pilot is 2hours long - just push through it though - it does not feel that long.
3. I made 18 freezer crock pot meals on Saturday. My version of nesting is weirdly all food related at the moment.
Jealous!!!! I have several make-ahead cookbooks and a "plan" to start on April 1st. I hope I can get a good stash going so I don't have to think about it for awhile.
Also..."whale in a pretty dress" was pretty much the best I was hoping for. Basically if someone mentions the word "pretty" in relation to me these days I will be thrilled. Yay for my pregnancy self-esteem
1. Just got the call - whatever likelihood for 'pre-term' labor test they did this morning, I came back negative! Winning! 2. While I can't do insanity anymore, I was cleared to walk on the treadmill. A little sad, but so happy to not be on MBD. 3. Weekly appts for the next 2 weeks just to make sure everything is okay, then bi-weekly, then weekly again. 4. I got a 3D pic of baby boy this morning - definitely started tearing up since it felt so real! 5. I'm waiting on my boss to tell another person in the office I'll be taking over her team... it is going to be so awkward. I'm excited for the promotion, but it wasn't an open position. I hope she doesn't hold it against me or leave. 6. Because I forgot to pack lunch and had a DR. appt and baby class tonight, I'm eating out twice. No workout today either. Watch me growwwww. 7. I need to order my breast pump. I know there is a thread, but if anyone has a suggestion for a tote for the Spectra, let me know. 8. Randomly jumped out of bed last night thinking I was going to throw up... SO random. 9. I have some vacation I have to use so I'm thinking about taking a 4.5 day weekend next week. 10. Just finished a caramel milky way... omg. Those things are good.

I'm also getting the Spectra and have heard good things about Sarah Well's Pump bags... A little pricey, but they have a built in pocket for the pump and also have an insulated cooler type pocket on the other side. And I like that they don't scream 'I'm a breast pump bag'.
1. Finally cleaned out s̶t̶o̶r̶a̶g̶e̶ the crib and organized the house. 2. Thinking of hiring someone to do a deep clean of the house before the kid arrives since I'm not feeling particularly motivated to scrub anything right now. 3. I *should* go to the gym but I really want to just hang out on the couch with the dog. 4. Speaking of the dog, it's his FIRST BIRTHDAY today!!! 5. I am cooking him chicken for dinner and got party hats! I wrapped his present in cat paper. DH thinks I'm insane. 6. Heartburn still sucks. 7. Tired of people saying "Oh wow, you're still working?!?" I've got ten weeks to go. 8. Also tired of "You're so small," "Wow you've popped!" etc. 9. I can tell I'm cranky because in my head my response to all of these things is "f**k off". 10. On that note - looking forward to a big ass beer after the little gal arrives.
1. I'm at a work conference for the Michigan Association of Drug Court Professionals today and tomorrow. 2. The hotel it's in this year is my favorite hotel ever and I've been coming to conferences with my dad here for the past 16 years roughly (in a different profession), so now I feel like I've come full circle since I'm attending my own conference in my profession. 3. This hotel is gorgeous. 4. They screwed up my coworkers & my room reservation (she's also pregnant) so I'm excited that I get my OWN room tonight at half price! 5. I just sat in a really good session on Marijuana & the effects of it. People thinks it's not addictive, but it is. Now I'm in one on Antisocial Personality Disorder & Complex Trauma. 6. I went to the outlet mall this weekend and got so many good deals...lots of clothes for Harper, a new dress for my baby shower & a new pair of Sperrys were some of my favorite purchases! 7. I really need to not buy anything else until after my baby shower otherwise I will probably have an overstock of clothes! 8. I watched the season finale of the Bachelor last night...anyone else? Thoughts? 9. I'm still not freaked out by labor or delivery yet. Which is a little strange to me because I know it's going to be painful and super hard. I think seeing my sister go through an intense labor and delivery about a year ago really helped prepare me for what to expect. 10. My heartburn & acid reflux has been brutal lately. It's waking me up un the middle of the night to the point of when I debate having to go throw up...my meds aren't cutting it so I need to talk to my Dr next appt.
11. I went outside to walk during lunch today. I quit after 5 mins. Too hot. I'm thinking of checking the temperature on the pool when I get home today to see when I might be able to start swimming again. I miss my swimming pool.
1. I made it back in one piece and without losing any of the 30 9th graders I was responsible for at the history museum today. It's been a long time since I had to chaperone a full-day trip. 2. School buses really suck with a third trimester belly. 3. DS2 seems to still be head down and he definitely dropped between yesterday and today-- so much so that other people even noticed. I hope he's getting locked and loaded in the correct position. 4. Because of the drop, my heartburn was much better today...until the returning school bus ride. Thanks for the bouncing, bus. 5. I'm rocking a six second swell on my feet and legs this afternoon. My legs look like stumps. It's much harder to stay hydrated on a field trip than at school (which is still difficult). 6. Still fighting to be able to start my leave at 39 weeks. Hopefully my doctor will be able to help me with some paperwork magic on Wednesday so my school doesn't say no again. If not, I have my union in the loop to back me up and potentially any other woman in the future. 7. Also helping a mother at work who just returned from leave to secure her pumping rights. I'm in Mama bear mode lately. 8. DH is traveling for work this week. I'm excited for him, but I miss him and so does DS. Bedtime was rough last night. 9. I think my mom may be staying with us tonight to make things a bit easier-- and also because she has to be at our house much earlier than usual while DH is away since she has to arrive before I leave for work. 10. I want key lime pie and a nap. (I forgot to celebrate pi day yesterday!)
11. I went outside to walk during lunch today. I quit after 5 mins. Too hot. I'm thinking of checking the temperature on the pool when I get home today to see when I might be able to start swimming again. I miss my swimming pool.
Swimming while pregnant is fantastic! It takes so much pressure off of your back/hips. I wish I had access to a pool this time around.

This is mostly what I'm looking forward to as this is what everyone is telling me. Baby is head down right now and feels like she's moved down a little bit putting a lot of pressure on the hips. I love swimming in general, but I think I might end up liking it even more while pregnant. Fingers crossed the pool starts warming up quickly so I can use it soon and finally get a little relief.

When we first moved into this house five years ago, there was a huge built-in pool that we rarely used because there was always something going wrong with it. About two years ago we finally paid around to have it filled in, because we were sick of doing repairs and we'd just discovered another major problem that would have cost us about $18,000 to fix.
Cost-wise, this was the better option in the long run (and now we have a bigger backyard space for the dogs to run around in!), but oh my gosh I'm really missing it right now. Just based off how much better I feel while taking a bath, swimming must be marvelous. I need to make friends with somebody who has a pool.
@dsmith211 thank you so much for the suggestion! will for sure check it out!
@bkjade so happy for your pup's birthday! Get lots of pictures (once, we put dog treats in the balloons and he popped them and figured it out - hilarious!) - I swear, my dog knows because he is a million times happier his birthday week.
@kbrands7 7. Also helping a mother at work who just returned from leave to secure her pumping rights. I'm in Mama bear mode lately.
^^hand clap for you. I think someone like you should be a requirement at every workplace.
Re: TTT 3/15
1) Might not make it to 10 today…
2) I think one of the senior managers on my team has resigned. We will find out what the big news is at noon today. What really sucks, is that since I am going out on ML, I highly doubt my boss will offer me the position. But I would really like to be considered!
3) Allergies in full effect today…just when I thought I had them beat!
4) Dr appointment tomorrow. Worried about any potential weight gain, but hey, I can’t resist the ice cream!
5) I emailed MIL this morning about birth announcements. She didn’t want to send wedding announcements to her friends and family as she thought it was “gift grabby”(???). So interested to see what she says about baby announcements. Especially considering she wanted to have a shower for me. Isn’t that “gift grabby”? What’s funny about the wedding announcements is that she didn’t want me to send those, but instead asked me to print pictures to send out. Which is all the announcement was…hmmmmm…
6) Its 9:20. Too early for a nap under my desk?!
7) I had a coffee when I got up, and having an iced coffee now. And I really don’t even feel bad today about it.
8) In 15 days, we can all say “The baby is due next month”--- EEEKKK!!!!!!
9) My 1 year wedding anniversary is early April. I made DH a cute book of things I love about him. Really excited to give it to him!
10) Even more excited about wedding anniversary dinner! I need an excuse to have a blow out and get all dressed up. It will be our last night out before little girl makes her entrance, and we really need it!
Oh look at that, I made it to 10!
2) Got my bassinet yesterday, super excited, even though it's sitting in a box by my bed.
3) Wishing I could vote in the Fla primaries, but...bedrest.
4) My coworker called me today and asked me about what he should do about his trial (previously mine). I miss my job.
5) Currently reading (well three books actually) Just Mercy by Bryan Stephenson. It so amazing.
6) I really want to go see the new Divergent movie. Think my doctor will give me a pass to leave my house and go see it?
2. The teacher for our baby class at the hospital is quite kooky, but I like her.
3. Hospital tour this week!
4. I went to a regular yoga class yesterday and had to improvise a lot
5. Baby found a nerve to start punching with made yoga not very relaxing
6. DH is traveling this week
7. Since DH is gone I bought the dogs new bones and toys to keep them entertained (yay sale at Petsmart!!!)
8. I have way too many assignments at work. Trying to knock them out but it's exhausting
9. I will likely go into hiding at work so I don't get assigned any more projects before maternity leave
10. I sent my boss my proposed maternity leave schedule and modified work schedule for when I come back... I hope I don't need to change it too much!
Happy Tuesday everyone!

Baby #3 EDD: 6/18/24

4. Worried about the money situation after all this is said and done.
5. Napping sounds so good right now.
6. Everything has been hurting lately.
7. Is it lunch time yet?
8. #3 is making it harder and harder to get out of bed now cause I know all I have to do is text that I'm not coming in.
9. March 15th is free cone day at dq

3. Starting to have heart burn often and its uncomfortable.
4. My family is putting on my baby shower this weekend!
5.A couple of my college friends are making the trip up from pretty far away places!
6. The only purches I have made thus far for baby is some clothes. After sat I will know what we need and probably panick.
7. GD test was almost a week ago and they said I should have heard from them by last fri if there were any issues. Soo I think I passed!
8. I'm tired of driving in crappy weather/ bad road conditions. 15 min late to work this am cause of it.
9. I just want to wear sandals again.
10. I really want to do something different to my hair besides cutting it . I am dying for it to grow out. Not sure what I can really do with iit.
I think that's a sign that we finally found "the one."
7. That's all I got today.
6. I really want a Tiger's Blood snow cone with cream
the end.
2. The wall between the dinning room and living room is coming down today! Let there be light!
3. I made 18 freezer crock pot meals on Saturday. My version of nesting is weirdly all food related at the moment.
4. MIL decided she wants to throw me a baby shower. I'm not sure how to feel about this since it's her first time showing interest in baby.
5. Might be a tmi but my breasts starting leaking yesterday. Judging by the feeling today I need to pick up some pads after work.
6. I have come to hate my job.
7. Before the stiff hit the fan, H and I decided I'll be a sahm! So glad that there's an end in sight!
8. I might have a countdown ticker for my possible last day.
9. Can't wait to set up the nursery either tonight or Thursday!
10. I really miss sushi and sake.
Yay I made it to ten!
#1 - Yup. Or when you go to spit in the sink and your boobs touch your belly. I am so not used to that.
#2 - I don't really watch any tv, but certainly not the Bachelor.

1. I think NC skipped spring and went right into summer, but I'm not complaining.
2. Last night I grilled hot dogs and corn on the cob & it was DELICIOUS. SO loved it too.
3. He was very sweet and full of compliments last night... I asked him what he did.
4. Tonight we have our 3rd birth class.
5. I think I'm getting Mcdonalds on my way home from work tonight.
6. I am also stopping to get a cherry or coke slush from the gas station tonight because I've been craving them!
7. I don't recognize my body anymore and it makes me sad.
8. My feet are killing me.
That's all I have for now.
