Quick intro :)

Hi there! My name is Kari; FTM due with a little boy (6/8/16). My husband and I are both 33 years old, have been together 17 years and married for 9 years (high school sweethearts). We struggled for years with infertility until essentially giving up nearly three years ago. It was around the time we stopped treatments that we ended up getting custody of my husband's two nephews (12 & 13 at the time; now 15 & 16). So we've spent the last three years raising teenagers! Fun times! lol

So needless to say, we were both quite shocked when on October 1st I discovered I was pregnant. Never would have expected that in a million years. I feel like I have been incredibly lucky with this pregnancy so far. Morning sickness started around 7-8 weeks and only lasted until about 12-13 weeks. After that I've felt great! No complaints. I am now 27+5 weeks and still have been feeling pretty good.

It's still hard for me to believe this is real and that in no time at all we'll be caring for a little one.

Anyway, thanks for allowing me to introduce myself. Hoping to participate here often and get to know many of you!
