Rant: I'm uncomfortable.
Rave: I fell asleep at 9:30 last night after a relaxing bath, which made waking up at 6:30 much more bearable. It's going to be a beautiful day, so H & I are going to go to the farmers market before my inlaws come over this afternoon. We've decided it's become too hard to keep babys name a secret, so we're going to tell them. (Not making it public knowledge though, just letting some family & our closest friends know if it comes up)
Symptoms: Sore & achey, gassy, feeling HUGE!
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
Just keeping him in there...grow little guy, grow! I might look on Pinterest for some DIY nursery projects to tackle this week since I'm off. I'd like to make a little library wall, & a growth chart ruler to hang.

Nickelback, without a doubt. I seriously don't understand how that stuff is considered music.

For symotoms, just lack of sleep! And uh... More use of the uh... Plunger. I've used that thing more in the past 5 months than my entire life!

We picked a daycare yesterday and have a spot for October! The cost is $255/week for full-time care. We only need 3 days a week but because those days alternate, we couldn't find a place where we could do part-time

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: It's the weekend! No rants yet since it is a beautiful Saturday morning! As far as symptoms, I'm finding it harder to bend over or pick things up off the ground - it makes everything feel smooshed in there!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Letting him grow in there!

I can't even think of a specific artists, but you know the ones that have a bunch of words that make no sense and don't even feel like music? I also agree on Nickelback
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I woke up this morning after having the worst dream (about losing the baby), went to roll over and snuggle DH only to have the worst knot in my calf make me yelp and wake him up. My dreams so far have been pleasant! Ugh. And my calf is still reeling. Otherwise, I feel great! Lots of kicks and weirdo movements making me say "kid! What are you doing in there?!"
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Trying to get all the baby furniture! And make a registry. So. Many. Choices.

GTKY: Is there a musician or band that you just can't stand?! I can't stand Ariana Grande's speaking voice. She sounds so dumb and irritating. And I agree about green day sounding the same.
@MrsAlliKat: My favorite are Jessica Simpson's full panel skinny maternity jeans. They are $49 (US), and I find them to be very comfortable with a good fit. I got mine from BBB and Motherhood Maternity. MM had a buy one get 50% off jeans sale last week, so Idk if the sale is still on--worth a look.

I just realized that the dress I was going to wear for a wedding today requires a slip... So now I have to try and find a slip that will fit over my bump. I was looking forward to doing nothing this morning, but not anymore! Symptoms: I have a huge bump in the way of everything. Does that count as a symptom?

We got our dresser/changing table from my parents, so now I have somewhere to put all of her clothes. Which means it's time to buy more clothes!

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Sleep wasn't horrible last night which is nice! I'm missing out on the zoo with H, DS, and some friends because I just can't handle the walking.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Baby laundry and thank you's. I did a stock up trip yesterday at Costco of paper towels, toilet paper, kleenex type stuff so we're set for awhile.

Symptoms: nothing horrible yet.
Preparing for baby: ordered a double stroller. Bought some bottle supplies and swaddle blankets at BRU yesterday (they were on sale). We also bought our daughter a baby doll that looks like/same size as a baby so she can practice helping with the things she can help with. Today there will be cleaning and organizing.
GTKY: it has been so long since I've listened to music that was on the radio, I really have no idea.

@sparklecharlie, just take the registry one thing at a time. And do some research. I know it can be overwhelming.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant - I took a stool softener for the first time this pregnancy on Thursday and I couldn't stop pooping last night. The worst. I mean I wanted to poop - just not like that. Rave - H gets off at 4 today so he gets to go to the Just Between Friends sale with me and we'll probably go see a movie after.

GTKY: Is there a musician or band that you just can't stand?! I'm a big fan of country music and in general, I just really can't stand this whole "bro country" thing that country music is turning into. It's super annoying. Bring back the late 90s early 00s country!!!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant - my H is super frustrated with his firm and is talking about getting a new job. He would inevitably take a pay cut, which we can't afford right now, and he's also talking about moving next year which means he would probably have to switch again. I'm just picturing all of this happening with a little baby and it is freaking me the f** out. Rave - I sat in my recliner for awhile yesterday reading and it REALLY helped my back out so yay. Symptoms - same old same old, feeling like a whale, burping a lot, and occasional back pain.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? The cradle we're going to put next to our bed came yesterday so I got that set up. We're going to go ahead and put it by the bed so my dog gets used to it. The paint I ordered gets here on Monday so next week I'll put the primer on - I'm waiting to put the color up until my best friend gets here next month to help me. Other than that, washing/hanging clothes as they come in and trying not to go too crazy at consignment stores.

Rant: I wish this kid would turn head down already! I know she has a lot of time to get into position, but I'm pretty sure she's transverse right now and it just makes me nervous. My doctor is not worried, so I know I shouldn't be. Hear that, brain? Stop worrying!
Rave: bought a 3/4 length pair of maternity leggings from H&M online for only $10 and free shipping! All I had to do was sign up to receive newsletters to my email, and I got a code for 20% off one item and free shipping. SCORE!
Rave 2: Got my free Medela Pump in Style Advanced from insurance! I used Edgepark as the supplier and they handled everything--I ordered the pump online and it arrived at my door THE NEXT DAY! So awesome.

What are you doing to prepare for baby? Slowly acquiring baby stuff, continuing to give passing throught to clearing out the would-be nursery. It'll be easier to actually get a move on things once my husband lands his permanent position (his post-doc is ending and he's in the middle of traveling/interviews right now).

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Feeling pretty good, some stretching and the bump is now in the way and obvious now. It's getting harder and harder to bend down, and I can't get my sneakers on to tie them, so I just wear my Danskos anyway.
My feet have been falling asleep lately and I've been having some leg cramps at night, it is what it is I guess.
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
We picked a paint color and I made the shower list to give to my mom.
Questions? What are you guys using for the baby to sleep in during the first few months when they sleep in your room? I'm thinking a rock and play or pack and play.

Omg @mommarich you are my favorite person right now. I can't stand Dave Matthews Band, Maybe it's because I grew up in CT in the 90s where everyone loved him. Some of my best friends love him and in our 20s would go to 10+ shows a year. His voice grates on my nerves. Ugh!

Symptoms: really bizzare dreams, sleepless nights, and heartburn. Oh and Constantly having to pee. Also, I feel like my little guy is exceptionally active today, he's been kicking/moving around like crazy.
